The accommodations were very lovely. The setting is just beautiful and we were so content that we never left the property.
The restaurant food was superior; the service was excellent.
The cookery class was beyond expectations - we learned so very much about cooking methods, food choice and preparation. Chef Zamboni is a wealth of knowledge and passionate about Italian cuisine. He is an excellent instructor.

We booked just a half day cooking lesson. We had a class of five, the three in my party and two women that were doing the week long lessons. It was a great experience. We made ravioli, tortellini and pasta and learned so much about the process of making an authentic Italian meal. Due to time limits, the chef pre-made the sauce. We all sat down to enjoy the delicious meal along with a couple glasses of wine. Wonderful opportunity to have delightful conversation with people from four different countries. If I had to add a negative, the only thing I could say is that it seemed each student should have their own supplies. Cutting board, knives, ingredients etc. but sharing worked just fine.

had the best time! Perfect getaway from the stressful life in the city. 3 days of eating good food. Vittorio was so kind to arrange a trip to the Delta Po and wine-tasting! Gianluca was extremely nice and welcoming. Simone is an amazing chef! I would surely come back.

I booked a 3 day cooking course and 5 day accomodation at Castel Venezze to treat myself. First, the castel is a 16 century estate that offers charm, history, grounds to walk in for hours and pools to swim - weather permiting. I stayed there in a charming room, but it is possible to rent independent villas on the grounds (less than a minute away, on foot from the cooking course location).
When it comes to the cooking course itself, I learnt how to make fresh tortellini, tagliatelle and gniocchi with various sauces. Sea food lovers will have the treat of a lifetime: we went to a famous fish market to purchase fish and sea food.
I went back home with memories, tastes and flavours to last me a life time.
I would recommend it to everyone, but specifically to anyone looking to treat themselves, or perhaps for couples or families looking to bond over food, wine, and the charm that the location offers.

My husband and I enjoyed the many talents of Annaleise teaching us how to make Ravioli ,Tiramisu , Pizza, stuffed eggplant and a chicken dish. The cooking school is set in the grounds of a true Venetian countryside manor. We were lucky enough to have her instruction all to ourselves - enjoyed the amazing wine and food we prepared- hospitality made us feel a part of the family- definitely a must if your looking for a unique cooking experience- we were very well looked after and Emanuel? Translated for us if we did not understand and he welcomed us like part of the family. A truely wonderful experience- thank you for making our first trip to Italy amazing. We will return.

My husband and I traveled to Rivigo by train for a cooking class. We loved finding our way from Venice to the countryside to this amazing estate. This was our first cooking class and we enjoyed the whole experience. We made pizza, ravioli, tiramisu and Italian vegetable dishes. We enjoyed lunch with Gianluca and spend time enjoying the gardens before heading back. This cooking class was truly one of our most memorable days in Italy!!

The class was outstanding, the ingredients were picked fresh from their farm and we were able to make many dishes from scratch ( pizza, eggplant rotini: tiramisu, ravioli and stuffed tomatoes. The results all tasted great as we had a leisurely lunch consisting of the food we made. The setting was ideal and the people friendly and patient.

We were a group of 8 who have cooked together for 35 years. We have done a lot of Italian cooking but we wanted the authenic cooking of people who grow up Italian and that is what we got. It is part of the Agritourism movement, a great way to sample living Italian.
We were staying in Venice for a week so we took the train to Rovigo, were met by the taxi minivan arranged by Gianluca, cooked, enjoyed sitting with him eating and asking questions about life in Italy. We were back in Venice by 4:00, well fed. We were sent a 60 page cookbook file and photos and videos of us cooking, a nice bonus. November weather kept us from enjoying the grounds but a dreary day was well spent in the lovely modern kitchen and dining room.

We, a group of 8, traveled by train from Venice to Rovigo, then a quick taxi ride to Villa Castel. We were greeted by Gianluca and started are cooking adventure. It was a very fun way to spend the afternoon, making pizza dough, ravioli, and tortellini. Then ate a fantastic meal. We had a great time and highly recommend.

Dear,
Many thanks for your interest in our cooking classes and for writing to us! I inform you that we are available on the 4th of November and we will be glad to welcome you here!
Our cooking classes are held from Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 2 pm, and the price for a cooking class of 2 persons is of 150 euro per person (if all adults - in case there will be children with you until the 11 year we ask just 25 euro for the meal per each of them). The price includes the lesson itself, the lunch prepared by you from the scratch during the lesson and a wine taste of noble Italian wines! Indeed, you can have the chance to spend your afternoon either relaxing in our garden!
Furthermore, should you be interest in preparing something in particular, please let us know: if possible, we will do it!
Would be possible to contact us directly, so to send you the menu we normally propose?
HOW TO REACH US
Since our Villa is in the Venice's countryside, in case you do not have a transport we can provide a taxi for you at Piazzale Roma in Venice and the cost is 90 euro one way till here, or 200 euro to go and return. Otherwise, you may get a train from Venice Santa Lucia’s train station to Rovigo (the nearest city to us). The price of a single ticket is 7 euro per person and there is a train every hour. At your arrival in Rovigo we can provide a taxi for you until here, the price of which is around 20 euro one way.

Chere Yaranajem,
Je vous remercie pour votre interet dans notres leçons de cuisine. On organize notre leçons du Lundi jusque Jeudi, chaque semaine, du 10.30 au 14.30, et on est disponibles a vous receivre ici chez nous.
Une leçon cout 150 euros par personne et compris la leçon, le dejuner (preparez par vous pendant la leçon meme!) et la degustation des vins nobles de la region.
En plus, vous auriez la chance de passer votre apres midi en relax dans notre jardin.

Hi, many thanks in our cooking courses. We have a class available on Wednesday Sep 23th. Price will be euro 320 for two, euro 560 for four. It includes the ingredients, lunch and Prosecco. Course starts at 10:30 and ends at 14:00.
In the afternoon you can ride our bike or relax in our pool.
