We stayed in the Excess Venice, a small boutique hotel, prior to joining a Uniworld cruise on the Venice lagoon. The hotel was perfectly located less than 200 meters from the San Basilio vaparetto stop and the the berth where we joined the ship. The hotel oozed charm with only 12/15 rooms and a beautiful garden in which an excellent breakfast was served by very friendly and attentive staff. The hotel perfectly suited out requirements.

It was easy to find in the airport and it was on time. Driver was very helpful and considerate giving us exact directions on getting to our hotel from the canal.

This is a very convenient and easy to use transfer. It's economical and efficient and takes you right to the transportation hub of the city where you can get a water taxi or the public transportation boats anywhere you want to go in Venice or if you need to take a train to another city, you arrive right at the Santa Lucia station.

We were not told what time we would be picked up. I had to phone and hang on for a long time before I could speak to someone. The person I spoke to insisted that we would be piked up from our hotel lobby, which I thought unlikely given the hotel's location and distance from the canal. When it was time to leave we had a telephone call from the boat driver to say we had to walk to the canal. The boat driver was fine and we had guessed what would happen but the communication from the people handling the booking was poor.

Thank you for your feedback. Hotels in Venice do not always have the option of swimming underneath the hotel itself. Sometimes the meeting place is the channel in front of the hotel or in the closest possible place. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Legar a Venecia desde Treviso es complicado y más si llegas de noche. Contratamos servicio de transfer desde el aeropuerto hasta el hotel donde nos hospedábamos, lo que incluía traslado por carretera hasta Venecia y taxi acuático hasta el hotel.
A los veinte minutos de contratarlo, ya teníamos en el correo asignado al conductor y todos los datos del coche que nos recogería. Unos días antes, el conductor contactó con nosotros par explicarnos cómo nos iba a recoger; por otro lado, tuvimos que facilitarle el número de vuelo en el que llegábamos y se molestaron en comprobar la hora programada de llegada del vuelo, tras comprobar que llegábamos antes de la hora de recogida, no sólo acudieron antes a recogernos sino que, por le mismo camino, el conductor hizo las gestiones necesarias para adelantar la recogida en el taxi acuático. Muchísimas gracias.
