We used ItalyXP for transfers only, not escorted tours, and they were excellent. Couldn't have asked for better service. I read your review, and I see nothing offensive about it - it was your experience, and readers appreciate honest, personal experiences … good, bad, or indifferent. If you dealt with ItalyXP through a third party or agent, I would have them be your advocate. As far as removing your review, it would be an injustice to the travelling public and to what TripAdvisor stands for. I wish you luck. We are really at the mercy of the local operators that are hired and feedback should be welcomed by the companies they represent.

Hasta agosto 15 del año 2017 estas eran las políticas de cancelación que a mí me dieron, pero te sugiero CONFIRMAR con ellos. “Hasta 5 días laborales antes del inicio de la actividad: devolución completa del servicio/bien/producto pagado por el comprador; • De 5 a 3 días laborales antes del inicio de la actividad: 50% de devolución del precio pagado; • De 3 a 0 días antes del inicio de la actividad o no-uso por parte del comprador del producto/bien/servicio: no hay devolución. Para contar los días haz referencia a las siguientes reglas: • No se cuenta el día en el que empieza la actividad. Entonces, cualquier cambio o cancelación, tendrias que comunicarlo más de 5 días antes del tour”. Espero te sirva esta información.

It is usual to pay in full when booking a tour,we used this company in Venice and had no problem at all.

My Sister and I used ItalyXp to book a three day trip from Rome to the Amalfi Coast in April of this year. Although the representative was wonderful and the hotels included in the tour were lovely we ran into trouble. Italy Xp contract out to another tour operator called Gartour for the use of their buses for transport. These people were very unprofessional which proved dangerous in our situation.On return to Rome we were not safely dropped off at our hotel we were dropped off at street corners and given walking directions to our hotel! On the walk my sister was accosted by 2 men who robbed her cutting her purse from her body right through into her clothing!! The police were called. Her purse and money were stolen but also her passport! We were unable to leave Italy! We had to go to the Canadian Embassy on Monday and they had to work on a temporary passport. The entire experience was a nightmare! Something you only see in the movies! Italy Xp remained gracious and tried to be helpful they did pay for our extra nights in the hotel while we waited for the temporary passport. Gartour who were totally responsible did nothing! I would travel with Italy Xp again but I would make sure they did not sub contract their busses and staff from Gartour!
