Awesome! knowledgeable staff, friendly and very helpful, backed up by experienced qualified mechanics in the workshop, the staff go out of their way to help you, would highly recommend just bought my second bike and this time an E-bike and got amazing service especially from Nicky a huge thanks
I live in the central belt and would not go anywhere else, well worth the travel for the personal service you get from Offbeat Bikes in Fortwillam I am over the moon with my bike absolutely love it Thank you all very much 5 star

Attempted to sell ball bearings at a price gouging mark up of 100,000%
Refused to check their error in pricing them at 31p per ball, yes £310 for a pot of 1,000 which should retail at £8.95
Their attitude was far from "the customer is always right" but "stuff you" instead
When i pointed out that 50p for a bag of 20 was what I paid ten years ago their cocky little "mechanic" informed me "times have changed", well I don't feel 500 years old, perhaps 31p a ball may be reasonable in 2522
I would recommend you avoid them like the plague

First class bike hire

Bike Hire
Visiting my sister and brother in law I left my own electric bike at home down south. We wanted to ride out along the canal and around Appin so visited Foss at Off Beat Bikes. They soon got me sorted with a beautiful new electric bike and I covered an easy 46 miles in brilliant Scottish sunshine ( I know, I was exceptionally lucky all week!) Everyone there very helpful and knowledgeable and I would certainly recommend.

Holiday Saved, they fixed my partners bike within hours! (Just in time as the shop was closed on the Sunday and Monday)
Every other shop nearby didn’t have time for us.
Stocked up on all of the bike essentials, lots in store.
Thanks to the team A LOT. Enjoy a photo of Jack very happy with fixed bike.

Really friendly staff

Sometimes bike shops can be slightly scary places. This shop has some daunting machines in the window (great electric mountain bikes and the sort you'd want if you were going down the Nevis Range) and I was concerned that they would laugh at me going in to hire a few hardtail mountain bikes for a family day out. Nothing could be further from the truth. The staff were very friendly and able to suggest some routes that suited us. They talked us through every twist and turn and clearly wanted us to have a great day out. The bikes were well-maintained and seats were quickly adjusted to ensure they fitted. Armed with locks, spare tyres and a tool roll we were ready. Had a great time cycling along the coast then out to the Caledonian Canal on their 'Castle, Canal and Coffee' route.

Fast, friendly and efficient service
lug 2021
Needed advice regarding a rear derailleur issue, and got very helpful, fast and affordable service. Left with all my gears in tip-top condition, with full details of work carried out and effective remedial action for the future. Brilliant work by Calum.

Top staff, top bikes, top price

Went and rented bikes last minute and without warning on a busy holiday weekend. They had to bikes ready for us to go and we were on our way in under 20 mins. Amazing kind and chatty staff and actually genuinely interested in their customers and really helpful with tips, sizing and places to go and ride

Great bike shop

I bought a bike from here and their service was fantastic. The staff were very helpful and they took their time to go through the whole set up process with me. A great service.

Fast, professional and friendly service

Needed a repair to my sons bike urgently to ensure we could continue with our holiday plans. Phoned Off Beat Bikes who answered quickly and were able to help us out as soon as we arrived. Great service from Calum who was very knowledgeable and helpful. Great value repair too. Very tempted by the amazing range of bikes for sale so we could be back soon!
