Visited to attend a concert, staff at door unhelpful rude and generally looked as if didn’t want to be there. Seats comfortable enough but when door opened the draft that came into auditorium had to sit with scarf and hood up . Not enough toilets, and bar expensive good idea refundable cups . Not the best experience .

Great venue with a great atmosphere. Excellent location with hotels nearby. Security staff are excellent, who helped me as I'm registered blind.

Visited in November 2023 and its been a while since I have been at the armidillo, our seats were in the stalls , so disappointing ! Seats were in a bad state of repair , actually disgusting - so much so they could do with a re-cover . Our seats looked as if paint had been spilled on them along with other stains and other seats were threadbare. Very disappointing for main venue to have seating like this.

Went for a Cliff Richard show. Easy access, comfortable seats with leg room and a fantastic sound system. The ambiance of the Armadillo added greatly to the experience

The family went last night to listen to a concert of the music of John Williams - which was excellent.
On the whole the venue was pretty good. Very easy for us to get in and find our seats, and from where they were (one level up) we had a good view of the staging - not that this is too important during a musical concert, but it's nice to see the people playing etc.
My quibble, and where they lose a full star, was over the toilets. We seemed to have only one for each sex on our floor - and I'm not sure if others were meant to come down to ours. During the 20 minute interval there was a queue of 15 or 20 men waiting to get in at times. And you know it's bad when the men need to queue! They were also quite narrow inside so it was hard for people to get / out and past others.
Otherwise all was good!

Absolutely awful
Went with family to see Disney on Ice
Poor seating J block row N seats 191 o 194 glass barrier in front of seats wall at fire excit which restricts the viewing further as you don’t see the middle of ice at the front staff member also stands there further restricts
People were coming in 30 mins late we missed the first half hour due to restrictions on viewing and people standing waiting who were late
Kids very disappointed. Staff rude and abrupt couldn’t care and certainly not interested
Poor very poor
The show was very good but the theatre is awful as are the staff
Ticket master do not say this is restricted viewing we would never had paid for these seats if we knew

OK, that sounds like an exaggeration, well it’s not.
We’ve been there for about 10 gigs over the years and I have finally decided it’s time to put this on the record.
We always buy tickets in the stalls. There are two entrances A and B. These two corridors are about 50 yards long and only fit for two people to walk side by side. Narrow and scary. As a survivor of Hillsborough every time I go in there I shudder at how outdated and insecure this venue is. Yes there are some emergency exits actually in the atrium, but a panic is a panic and people behave stupidly in such a scenario.
Heaven forbid if some people tried to come down the corridor against the exiting flow.
OK enough on safety. I’ll put this out there if it ever happens and say “told you so”.
Clearly that design was all about the outside which looks terrific. They forgot about the interior sadly. Firstly there is one toilet on the ground floor and one up in the rafters. The queues for both usually mean missing the start after an intermission. Not just that the queue blocks the corridors in A and B……..
Finally the gradient of the seating even with the off centre means a large head in front blocks certain parts of the stage.
There is one redeeming feature and it’s the legroom is excellent.

Thankyou for the music at SEC Lomond Auditorium Glasgow

My daughter managed to get tickets for myself, husband and friend for the Abba show at the SEC Lomond Auditorium in Glasgow. We all love Abba and were really looking forward to the concert. After the show started, the two females in the row in front of us stood up and this continued throughout the whole of the performance. Fortunately, my friend had a seat at the aisle and could see most of the stage. My husband and I couldn't see any of the performance. We would have enjoyed being at home instead, listening to Abba music even without the atmosphere of the theatre. Parking charges at £11 and the cost of tickets, we were extremely angry and disappointed. Wish there was a section for standing only for those who don't want to sit down. A good show ruined by selfish people.

Attended my first phone free concert at this venue. Expected long queues sorting out mobile phones prior to the concert. The whole experience was slick from start to finish. Plenty of staff on security and to help you find your seats.
Very professional and friendly staff though out.

Went to see RuPauls Drag Race series 3 tour for my sons birthday and me and my son had the time of our life. we got our seats upgraded and the staff were amazing and the queens were fab and the warnings if the alarm went off were amazing and the security guards were awesome overall fabulous cant wait to sashay to here again Thank You. Lynn
