Richard the leader was very good helping those who may not have been up to speed with their camera settings before we set off on a walk around parts of the City of London before finally ending up at Tate Modern.
He encouraged us to take photos of buildings from different angles to achieve various effects rather than the standard shot as well as providing a brief history of some of the buildings we were photographing.
Weather was perfect which was great for a November day and we had the added spectacle of the Lord Mayor's Show procession.
A small group, eight of us, which was an ideal number for a tour of this nature gelled together and we all took something away from our experience.

A very enjoyable experience with the chance to apply some of the theory out and about. Vehbi obviously knows his stuff and was an entertaining mentor.

Attended this course and had Vehbi as a tutor.
What a guy.
Simple to explain, nice methods and also showed a real willingness to just help you no matter what camera you had and to be experimental with his work.
Wish I was taking more pictures at the moment, however I can't with being vulnerable but definitely hope to attend another course and develop my knowledge.
Brilliant.

The course was lead by a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic tutor. Despite the terrible rain on the later part of the day, everyone seemed to have a great time. I certainly learnt a lot.

This was a present for my granddaughter (just 17) already a keen photographer but unused to London. Due to age she needed an accompanying adult and sweetly chose me over her (photographically competent) mum! I have no photography experience whatsoever. The excellent tutor (Vehbi Koca) through humour, excellent descriptive and practical techniques, and sheer love of his subject enthused us all from the absolute novice to the quite skilled, introducing us to new approaches and opening our eyes to see (frame and record) what is around us. He is generous in praise, and kind and helpful in criticism so we know we are learning and progressing as we go. We both felt pretty good and pleased with ourselves by the end. I for one, feel I have at last moved on from snapshots to a more creative approach to recording what is around me - while my granddaughter is studying photography at school.

This was a gift and happened to take place close to where I work but I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the course. We all had different abilities and some were new to this part of London but I think we all learned something.
I took away some great hints and tips as well as a newfound appreciation for a part of London I often speed through on the way to catch trains or meetings!
A great course for newcomers and those wanting some new insights or a new perspective on their photography.
