Ordered a television unit online with a delivery window of 6-8weeks, two weeks later I received an email stating that my order was unable to be fulfilled as there was a payment processing error on their part but that I would receive a full refund within 7-10 working days.
However, the refund has yet to arrive and I've had no response to any of my correspondence.
Fortunately I paid with my credit card to leaving it to them to battle it would!
Might be an isolated incident but personally I wouldn't chance it again.

30 livres sans Conso L entrée, pas de place inside , de l'aveu même d'un videur français "mais les gars qu'est-ce que vous faites là!!!" Il y a bien mieux à Londres , et même bien mieux À deux rues de la .....

Weordered a table and chairs in January last year and were told it would take around 6/8 weeks. This was good for us as we needed it for Easter weekend..
We proceeded to paint the kitchen diner and also bought the matching sideboard which was in store for us to take home personally.
Closer to the estimated delivery date we rang numerous times to be told it would be next week, then two weeks and so on and on and on........
It went on for so long it got embarrassing calling as they always said they'd return our call but never did!!!
Out of the blue in August they rang to say our table was ready if we came in and paid in full. They said the reason it was late was because we hadn't paid in full!! What a complete joke!! We initially paid a £60 deposit and were told payment of the outstanding balance would need to be paid before delivery ,this obviously wasn't a problem as we didn't expect it for free!!
I phoned head office and explained that after waiting since January this was unacceptable and what were they willing to do to compensate ie free delivery or a discount. They were very unhelpful and said they might consider it after full payment and delivery and that it may be in the form of a voucher for their store hahaha
Not even a mention of the word SORRY
Apparently the didcot store manager was going to call my husband on the Monday funnily enough the call never came. We were so angry we just left it and put it down to a bad mistake but just gutted we have the sideboard and no table to match
Low and behold the week before Xmas now 12 months later I received a call saying" your tables ready for delivery upon payment" I just laughed and said you joking!!! Please call my husband as I was working at the time
We haven't heard a word from them since and they still have our £60 deposit!!!!

Cargo delivery men made hole in stairwell wall.
Customer services, Kingston, advised shop assistant to let me know that unless there was cctv to show them causing the damage, to deny their causing it......great.
Wasn't there before they arrived and there 1 hour after they left....i'm the only one who uses the stairs, to the first floor, but was told their contracted delivery men were believed over me, the customer......great service........and I paid them £50 to cause the hole, too.

I'd love to be able to leave a review of the sofa I ordered last year, but it has yet to materialise, so I'll go with the customer 'service' instead. Actually, that's pretty hard to rate as well, as I've witnessed next to nothing of that too...
I ordered a sofa 'in time for Christmas', with a 7 week delivery time, which should have meant I'd have it by mid December. Having heard nothing by that point, I phoned Cargo, to be told that they wouldn't be making any deliveries until January. I'm still waiting, 11 weeks later, and have yet to have any form of contact from them.
If you're looking to order furniture, I can highly recommend Swoon or Made - both offer outstanding service and products and I only wish I hadn't been lured by a sofa spotted in the Cargo sale. More fool me.

I was told my delivery would be on 11th December. Great - in time for Christmas.
It never arrived and when eventually I got through to CONCORDE delivery - I was told the driver had the paperwork but no sofa on board. This was then re-scheduled for Monday 21st December. It couldn't happen a second time - could it? So I took another day off work - got rid of old sofas...after waiting in all day and no call again - I phoned CARGO to be told it wouldn't be coming AGAIN. No explanation. This was ordered and paid for in October. I have 18 guests for Xmas day - and no sofas to sit on?!! Terrible chain - I should have believed the shocking reviews.

I bought a picture as part of a Christmas present for my boyfriend online. After waiting 2 weeks the item never came, I contacted customer services and was told that when I had paid for the item it was in-fact out of stock. I mentioned that it showed on their website that they had 8 in stock as part of their "live update system", but was told this was only a guess of what they had delivered that week, not necessarily how many they had available at the time. So not "live" at all, what's the point in that? Either it's in stock, or not.
I asked why I was still charged if they knew the item was not in stock, they couldn't even explain why, nor could they be bothered to contact me to advise I was due a refund. I had to contact them to complain and request one!
I'm glad I didn't order so close to Christmas, otherwise I would've been out of a present to give my boyfriend!
I think the worst part of the whole thing was the lack of care from the customer service team, if they had been understanding and just apologised for the error this would've been a better experience, but the feeling I got was "that's the way we work, deal with it" and that I was the one inconveniencing them. Don't shop here!! EVER.

Like others I wish I had read these reviews first, we are caught in the same trap as so many others. Ordered our sofa, promised delivery and now being delayed again and again. I get the strong impression the customer service team are well versed in fobbing off and letting people down. Seems the company line is to offer compensation but like others on here I don't expect to see any. I strongly advise you do not buy from this store as the delivery and follow up will drive you crazy

A lovely shop. Beautiful things on display. Pleasant helpful staff. Until..........order for 3 items. Lead of 12 weeks fine. Except it is now 29 weeks. I have phoned. First excuse was one item not ready. Phoned again." No it wasn't that item that was the problem. It was another item. But it would all be in the shop ready for collection 15 November. No sign. Phoned again. "It would deffinately be in the shop for 8th December (oh. It was back to the original item being missing!) That would put it at over 30 wks. Now I am a reasonably laid back person but that it absolutely RIDICULOUS!! I could have bought an entire shop and probably have built and decorated an entire house in that amount of time. Not a complicated order (I don't think) one ladder shelf. 2 bedroom consoles..Easy? Isn't it? I did say today not acceptable I'd like my deposit back. Or a delivery well before 8 Dec. New Manager Holly has just phoned me back. Very helpful. Very polite. Very nice. And here's a thing that no one thought to mention. We had agreed to pay full amount when we collected items. That is what was asked of us. But apparently the warehouse will not release items until shop is paid in full. New Manager who started in September will ensure that customers are aware of this in future. Meanwhile she will speak to Area Manager to try and resolve because I am not going to hand over anymore money until I see touch and take home the items.....!! Lessons learned? Check reviews before buying anywhere. Would I use Cargos again?Not if it was the last shop standing...Having said that I do feel for the shop staff who have to deal with potentially very irate customers. They are doing their best in what must be a dreadful and frustrating situation. All credit to them for not loosing their tempers. I hope they get a very good salary for their work!!!

I wish I had read the reviews first!! I have to agree with everyone else. Customer services is a joke. I ordered a corner sofa in July and fingers crossed it will eventually arrive next week. This is after it was lost in the warehouse and had to be reordered. Despite being assured that a specific manager was overseeing my order I never heard from him after the initial call. God help anyone who isn't being looked after personally!!!!

They do have a customer services department in Lancashire who are very helpful 0344 848 3300 - presumably you have an order number? If it's a sofa I wish you the best of luck!
