Brilliant, well worth a visit. Everybody was so friendly and welcoming. The axe throwing was a lot of fun, so much so I want to do it again. Great facilities and good coffee.Definitely going back to try the other activities and do the axe throwing again.

We booked in for an hour air rifle shooting and an hour archery and had an awesome time. We took a teen and a ten.
Childish Dad fun to play with the radio from the car park to call the site to ask to be collected and chauffeured up in a well lived minibus, through the Downs to Polo Wood.
It felt like a beautifully manicured survivalist centre populated by enormously friendly people who welcome you with a free cup of coffee as you arrive.
High quality air rifles with a great variety of targets. It is very pleasing breaking a clay with an air rifle and the dink of a Nescsfe tin is so satisfying when you want an easier shot.
The archery was just as fun. Solid training bows, good clear instruction on safety and technique then fun. Loads of targets and a collection of rubber animals that were slaughter repeatedly by our animal loving veggie kids.
Loads of other positives. Friendly efficient booking, felt like an oasis just a couple of miles out of Brighton, buzzards overhead and good clean bogs.

Had a great time at polo wood with our 2 sons , everyone is so welcoming and very efficient . Nathan looked after us start to finish and went above and beyond helping the boys with aiming and setting up ! Thanks polowood shooting ground team ! Definitely family friendly

Really enjoyed our visit, took my grown up son out for a taster session on the archery. The site is huge and offers lots of events. Was well set up and the people who work there were really friendly. The instructor was great and we are already planning a trip back to do the axe throwing

Amazing experience! Certainly worth it if you think you might be interested in this!
All instructors are incredibly friendly, approachable, and clearly experience.
We tried each activity, and they manage the times perfectly, as it never felt rushed nor that it was talking too long
The competitive element of the taster session also add an extra touch to the experience.
Would highly recommend

Great setting. Well organised. Friendly team of people and a lovely, clean and tidy site that’s well looked after.
Jack was patient and helpful, giving out coaching tips throughout the hour. There were 7 people in the group and each got the benefit of Jack’s attention.
Only suggestion I’d make is that 3 arrows limited momentum with the bow. Perhaps another 2 arrows may have helped the kids get a better feel on each round.
Overall a really great way to spend an hour in the countryside. Thank you.

Great experience, wonderful staff! We celebrated an early birthday with the taster session, which was perfect as the range of activities ensured that everyone had a few things they were good at. I ended up scoring last in a friendly competition within our group of 4 and still had a blast :) Special shoutout to the staff - Jack, Pip, and Gabe; you guys made our day! Everyone was super friendly, professional, funny, and made the whole day very memorable. Would highly recommend! :)

Amazing staff, so friendly and helpful. Make you feel very welcome and always happy to help you out, great spot in country side with Axe Throwing, Clay Pigeon shooting and archery. ( and more) would defo recommend to anyone looking for a good outdoor activity. Great in summer but they are open all year round, great family run business.
