The tide was almost in when we visited so there wasn't much sand. Had a walk along the beach and a little paddle. Quite crowded but like I say the tide was almost in.

Great value surf rental

Visited the beach and hired body boards from Towan Surf Hire right on the beach. The rates were really good and the service terrific ( as were the waves). The surf gear is also in very hood condition!

Lovely Newquay beach

Great beach, spent the day here.
Clean and dog friendly.
Crystal clear waters.
Just spend the day chilling or walking and exploring the caves and rock pools.
Depending on times you do get tidal cut off.
Plenty of shops and things to do around.
Hire deckchairs, surfboards, suits paddle boards.

Super beach for a refreshing swim whilst in Newquay

We travelled to Newquay with our Y8 cohort in tow for a 4 day stay. Loved this beach as it was so central for where we stayed, St Christopher's Inn.

Lovely Family Beach

Towan Beach is near the town centre. The tide was out but there was a lot of activity going on. Lovely sand and dog friendly. Lifeguards patrolling the beach. Lovely afternoon spent here, not busy as mid week in term time.

Lovely looking beach. Perfect place to come with family or friends to visit for the day to soak up Newquay sun. Near few places that sell food & drinks too

Great beach rubbish hire shop

Amazing beach loads of places to explore and walk and great waves . But try to avoid the cheep surf shop are wet suits were very sandy and there is a poor quality choice of boards the gloves and boots were sandy and weren't in pairs

Nice beach with an awesome hilly island, a house perched on top. Surfers attempt to catch knee high waves, while dogs frolick in the 2c water and children draw sacrificial circles in the sand with sticks. Pretty colourful boxes line the shore and surfy dudes in scooby doo wagons sit and eat thier sandwiches.
