A really unuaually quirky old pub. Narrow & long with what seemed to be a an old 'snug' area where I sat with friends & chatted to some locals. Not much room in the toilet but actually sort of added to the overall charm of the place. Some decent ales on offer @ average Bristol prices of about £5. Pleasant lady serving. Nice & warm, worth a vist just to relax in there just outside of the main drag as it were away form the hurly burly of other more modern establishments. Worth finding & near to our hotel.

This place is like a miniature version of the grand Victorian pubs you find in Glasgow.
Wonderful barback, and the 'lounge bar' is called the tramcar bar.
Apart from the bar top, the fittings are circa 1865.
Friendly barmaid, good beer.
Wish I lived nearby.

Must be one of the smallest pubs I've ever been in.
As per the review title, the Kings Head is a quite quirky little place with bags of character and charm. Half of the pub feels like you're sitting inside an old tram.
Essentially, it's a basic boozer with good beer on tap. Not one for families really. However, if you like odd drinking establishments, it's well worth a visit.

A nice little pub with a good feel. To the rear of the bar is a great area like the inside of an old tram, gives nice intimate feel. Nice selection of craft ales , a pleasant place to visit

Beautiful small old pub in good location near the station. Good choice of very well kept beers and immaculate glassware. Very traditional pub with lots of unspoilt features and friendly staff :)

This is my sort of pub. Small and full of character. Friendly landlord and locals. Good selection of beer and cider. Open 'til 12 on a Sunday night. What's not to like??

Popped in for a quick G&T , it’s a gorgeous little one room bar with a little snug at the back that’s like the interior of a tram car. I’m always amazed these Victorian interiors survive especially as fashions change over the years. You should pop along for at least one drink to experience what pubs must have been like 100 years ago, with all the mahogany fittings, etched glass and signs above the bar for cordials and spirits - nice landlord who explained that the little buttons next to the seats were call bells to save punters walking the few steps to the bar - and we think our generation is lazy lol !
