Our romantic escape with Brahim Faska of Marrakech Safari was truly magical. From start to finish, Brahim’s thoughtful service and attention to detail made the day unforgettable. The stunning views, intimate moments, and personalized touches created the perfect romantic atmosphere. It was a beautiful, serene experience that my husband and I will cherish forever. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a romantic adventure in Marrakech!

Wij zijn er speciaal naartoe gereden en hadden van te voren op hun website gekeken of ze open waren. In oktober zijn namelijk veel attracties dicht. Het was niet duidelijk. Eenmaal voor de deur stond er dat ze gesloten zijn. Je kunt alle gebouwen van buiten bekijken. Prima maar teleurstellend. Hoe moeilijk is het je website up to date te houden.

Enjoyed wandering around the site. Nice to have picnic benches, washrooms, and entry by donation. Great place for families to have a short educational experience and a rest break.

We were lucky enough to visit on Canada Day. Live music, food vendors and other vendors as well as the regular museum offerings. Everything is really well done and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

Williams Lake visitors center told us about this place. Driving south on 97 we stopped and checked it out. Lots of cool old log cabin buildings, machinery & history. They have a museum there too and ask for a donation. Very nice ground and buildings get opened up at a certain time to view.

I have many fond memories of the 108 Mile Ranch Heritage Site. From the early 1990s to mid-2000s, the family and I would frequent the site as a rest stop en route to the Fraser Valley. On at least one occasion, I remember we checked out the gift shop and purchased some beeswax candles. That’s a completely random memory and I’m not sure why it remains so fresh in my mind. In other instances we’d walk around the grounds, take in the fresh summer air and admire the historic buildings from afar. For me, the 108 Mile Ranch always signified that we were getting moderately close to our destination – it was exciting!
Yet, despite visiting this site almost yearly for 15 years, it was only this year that I actually took the time to actively engage with 108 Mile Ranch. My partner and I were partaking in a late summer BC “staycation” and, as part of our journey, decided to patronize the historic site. After a brief rest stop, we took the time to explore many of the historic buildings on the property. My favourites were the 108 Mile Hotel, Schoolhouse, Church, Clydsdale Barn and Trappers Cabin. Each of these really gave us a fix and feel for what life was like during BC’s early years and the hectic Cariboo Gold Rush period. Peer into the school and see how learning was executed in a pioneer village, or look into the Trappers Cabin and marvel at its rustic yet functional interior. If I may be a bit cheeky, a lot of these homesteads show us that the “tiny home” fad of today is hardly a novel or new concept!
In the bigger picture, I like to view 108 Mile Ranch within the lens of BC’s Cariboo Gold Rush. It’s along the historic route, gives us a taste of life during the mid-1800s, and pays homage to the “Mile House” designation that was so important at the time. For a history buff like me, it’s easy to spend a couple of hours here admiring the edifices and letting one’s imagination take over. Now, onwards to Barkerville!

We stopped by on our way back to the Lower Mainland to stretch legs, take a break, and use the public washrooms. It's right beside the main Highway so super easy to stop there. It's free, just self guided, no admission etc. Loads of buildings to look at, really interesting, and benches to sit down and have your lunch or snack. There were a couple of booths with vendors selling their wares if you are so inclined. Next time you are driving by stop and have a break, it's worth it!

We first went out here when my wife was hired as an entertainer for the 50th anniversary of the 108 mile Ranch. Then...our daughter painted over 150 kids faces for Canada Day Celebrations here. Then...we went as a family to a ghost hunting evening and we really enjoyed our night together. We stopped out to pick up some auction winnings that we had won and were very pleasantly surprised. We ate lunch by the food truck and the lady that runs the truck is 1 amazing chef. Our lunch was beyond tasty served up with awesome milkshakes. We finished off our day by doing some shopping in the gift shop. Thank you for some wonderful family memories for us.

This is a wonderful stop. There are a lot of period buildings ranching related, a school house and a church. A good place to get off the road and stretch your legs and stroll the grounds. There is also a gift shop and a cafe and public restrooms. Shady areas to relax and picnic. Well worth the stop.

Lovely place to stop and explore, maybe grab a bite to eat or a souvenir. Great place to stop if you are heading Barkerville.
