An excellent trip on the Norfolk Broads, fun and informative commentary, brilliant staff and great value bar and refreshments, definitely a 5 star experience.

Was a good trip on a beautiful October day. Captain very informative and telling us what to look out for. One thing to watch. We thought it was £9.00 for over 65s but were charged £10. Upon checking the website on return we found we were right and we’d been overcharged. It was my 68th birthday.

When people are boarding we never dream of asking peoples ages as some could be offended and we rely on being informed

I took a group of 30 people on this trip, the captain told us about the area, the riverside homes which were breath-taking, informed us of the wildlife that we could see as well as how the Broads came into existence and many other interesting facts about the area. The boat was spotless with toilets and refreshments available on board and the whole experience was really enjoyable and so relaxing. The whole trip was very good value for money and when I'm next in Norfolk, I will definitely be sailing on the Paddle Boat again.

Brilliant trip out. Our first time on the broads. Staff incredibly helpful. Only 10 pounds each, so great value. Dog friendly, our Greyhound Norman's first boat trip and he loved it. 90 minutes long with running commentary which was very entertaining. Very informative and better than guessing what you were looking at. Would recommend it highly if visiting Horning

Living in Horning thought we would go at a quiet time. Went Sunday morning 10.30am.
Great value for money, great commentary the captain told you everything you wanted to know about the riverside homes, wildlife, otters and herons couldn’t ask for anything more absolutely 5 star. You can get a drink, alcohol and a snack. Not a lot of places you get so much relaxed entertainment for such little money.
Really impressed, don’t question it just get on the boat and have a tranquil time.

After doing a trip in Wroxham that we really enjoyed, we decided to also do a trip from Horning. This was very enjoyable and relaxing and we ventured quite a way to Ranworth. We saw lots of wildlife and the commentary was excellent. There were snacks available and toilets on board. Excellent value for money.

Great one and a half hour tour. You see lots of lovely houses and countryside. David the ship's captain gave an amusing and informative commentary. A very enjoyable tour and good value for money. Would thoroughly recommend this boat tour.

I went on board the Southern Comfort with a coach party and from start to finish we were all comfortable, felt welcomed and had the best time ever.
The skipper, Dave, gives amazing commentary and the ladies downstairs are perfect hosts. The ride on the Broads is very informative and a really good way to spend 2 hours of your day.

The trips are advertised from March to November but request that you phone regarding availability in in Oct & November as the summer timetables change.

The children tend to enjoy going along the river and seeing the wildlife and quite often if you ask the captain nicely he will let them in the wheelhouse with him
Obviously being a boat they do need to be supervised at all times

There are boats for hire but this a multiple person boat and well worth. Sit at top at front for best view. Hope you enjoy it. I don’t know if it is available for private charter but I would imagine so. They have a website. Enjoy.
