Great place but still unexplored by the travellers. It has both natural beauty as well as the great looking natives of these places.

Pabbar valley is one of the beautiful destinations in Himachal Pradesh, totally unexplored, must visit the Chanshal pass which is some 50kms from Rohru,Roads are pure off road and a bliss if you are a adventure junkie.you will witness apple orchids on the way,you can pluck apples from there after asking from the owners.
There is only one dhaba on the way,Leave early morning from hotel and do carry some water and Refreshments.

Chandernahan is a place in pubber Valley, of rohru tehsil, of shimla district. It is place from where pubber river has its origin. The way to Chandernahan is filled with great beauty which helps the travellers to overcome fatigue due to trek. It is a sacred place and has 7 lakes to which people trek. The trek is moderate, provided you are well equipped. It is a must visit place, if you want to part from your day to day life as there is almost no signal.

Dodra and Kwar - (डोड्रा और क्वार) are two beautiful villages nestled in remote part of Himalayas in state of Himachal Pradesh (India). Situated at a height of 2500 mts above sea level, both the villages of Dodra and Kwar are separated by River Rupin which is a tributary of River Yamuna. Recently (Year 2009) connected through a motorable road, though seasonal, this pocket retains a pristine beauty.

pabbar valley is one of the beautiful valley of the shimla distt. It beauty is yet to be explored by the hardcore nature lover cause of bad road conditions, but now roads are good and snow points like khadapathar and kufri ,fagu adds more beauty to its route.
Once you reach rohru , you will find there a beautiful town in the bank of pabbar river. then you have many options to explore there like some treks- (chandernahan trek, buran trek ,Chanshal lake trek) etc.you can also explore chanshal ghati which is really a very beautiful place for camping. Main roads which leads you to chanshal or chandernahan is sideby pabbar river and are really scenic. People are also very cooperative. You will find there heritage villages and awesome people.

As the title of my review suggest, there is quite a lot of experience in Pabbar valley but these abstract things of beauty are hard to describe in words!
The valley gets really cold and Chanshal Pass is not readily accessible during peak winters. Outside of the 2-3 winter months and 2 monsoon months, any month is a good month to visit the valley. Rohru has decent accommodation facilities and even Chirgaon can offer a guest house or a govt PWD stay. However, there are no fancy hotels.
Public transport is OKish and works for the adventurers. Going in your own vehicle is the best. A word of advice on reaching here: take either the road via Kharapatthar or if you seek a longer drive take the route via Tuini. On the former route, a night stay at Shimla is advisable and when taking the latter route, make Chakrata as the first base. For quite a few years Kharapattha road had been a mess. In Mar 2016 they started construction of the road and I heard from locals that it was half complete. I myself took the Tuini route.
When road condition permits, do go all the way to the Chanshal Pass. After Chirgaon, the road is not so good but motorable. Even 2WD compact cars can make it if it doesn't rain. Reserve at least 1 full day to explore the valley and the Pass. Optionally, if one is feeling more adventurous, one can trek here and go stay in Dodra or Kwar villages.

best place to stay is himalayan footslog camps and pabar valley. As the road conditions is not very good it is better to hire a cab from shimla with a local driver to visit the place.
