A great place to walk in natural surroundings and enjoy Canada's seasonal beauty. Great for birdwatchers too, esp. at dusk..and if you're lucky you could see deer, n=brown fox or tortoise.

The conservation area is quite expansive and good for walking. Picnic tables and parking make for a good outing.

Nice park for groups to enjoy a nice picnic. Trails are ok, place was crowded with people wanting to enjoy a pleasant summer day.
Took the davidson's trail which went under 407 and next to a rail line - good place to take photos during the day, would avoid at evening or night as quite isolated.

The Meadowvale Park is located in the Meadowvale Consrevation area in Mississauga. My husbands fraternity brother sent him a video of the Salmon Run in this park so after we had our lunch to celebrate my youngest sons birthday we hied off to this park.
Finding the park was a bit tricky because it was located in an area that was unpaved. You have to watch out for the signs along the road because even with the GPS you would have to be on the lookout for the entrance road leading to the Conservation Area. The road leading to the Conservation area as well as the parking lots are unpaved and dusty. But there is ample parking space for the few people who probably frequent this park.Previous to coming here we had gone to Eldorado Park in Brampton to also take a chance of seeing the Salmon Run. We therefore easily compared the difference between the two parks. One is that Eldorado has better signages and has a bigger area compared to this park.It also doesnt have a childrens playground and Pool that Eldorado has. However just like Eldorado, Meadowvale has a lot of space for picnics and trails for hiking or biking. The best part is that it is completely free. As soon as we entered the park we headed straight to the bridge so we could watch fisherman hobbyist trying to catch fish in the shallow river. The bridge that links the camping and picnic areas to the river and walking trails is the main feature of the park. It is long and gives the best vantage point to view the river and the marsh that surrounds the river area.It also leads to the walking trails. You can spot some old trees along the river bend. This park is a bit secluded and probably known only to residents of the neighboring areas. This seclusion is a positive thing because you would have better choice of picnic grounds and ample spaces for parking unlike the popular parks in Mississauga like Erindale Park.

This conservation area is great for all types of groups and all types of activities! There is a lot of space for picnics and trails for hiking or biking. The best part is that it is completely free, but I wish there was a clear map or markings along the trails because it can be confusing. Still, this is a wonderful place to keep coming back to.

Beautiful clean park, lots of shade and a great place for walking, picnic and exploring. Young kids will enjoy this oasis of nature, beautiful birds and such an amazing river. Would recommend a must-see right in the heart of peel.

Meadowvale conservation area is located in the heart of the city of Mississauga. It is adjacent to the historic trail of Meadowvale. It’s great for biking hiking and having a picnic.
We spent an entire evening here. Ofcourse under current pandemic conditions its better to avoid the public facilities. You can either park right at the entrance or drive a bit further in and park closer to the trails.

What a beautiful and relaxing picnic spot away from the city. My partner and I came here for a romantic picnic and it was divine. There is a river that flows through the conservation which relaxes one. The area is very clean and kept in great condition. We will definitely be back soon!

A picnic in a conservation is always awesome, and the best part is there is no entrance fees to this conservation. The credit river flows through this conservation and gives you not only a beautiful view but also a calmness to your mind. Nice trail to hike in the woods and playing area is big and clean. Barbecue is allowed and there are enough trees to provide you shade for picnic experience with friends and family.
