We rented on Denman St. Good fish sandwiches in Granville Market. It is also a fun place to visit. Other places to visit. Gastown, all along the water around Canada Place. Commercial Drive, UBC. Well it could still be pretty frosty on the 25th! Right now forecast says 28 after sunrise and only getting up to the mid to upper 30's which is kind of cold in my book for biking weather. But if dressed for the outdoors there are plenty of things to do. Maybe a farmer's market or flea market. Museums are a great indoors get away and are worth the price of admission! And there is ice skating in Robson Square. As far as good fish sandwiches, there is Go Fish, not far from Granville Island and down on Granville Island there is a good food truck called The Kaboom Box that does a good salmon sandwich as well as a tasty crab sandwich as well. Granville Island is a great place to spend a few hours browsing shops and art galleries, there is a good public market on the wharf there, too. Have fun and dress warmly!

Lonsdale Quay Hotel in NorthVancouver near the Seabus Terminal, Sylvia Hotel on English Bay Gage Towers at UBC STUDENT residences There are also tons of B n Bs in Vancouver. BUT Don’t stay in cheap hotels in the East Hastings area as they are adjacent to skid row and you’ll be alternately horrified and grief stricken by the mass of 3000 or more fentanyl/opioid stricken folks.

I am close to that age, and based upon the tourists at the time, the weather etc, I would plan far more than this time! Are you experienced bikers, do you like cool off ocean breezes, and do you mind a narrow bike path! I would suggest compact bikes, large wheels, and at least 1/2 day or more! Great place to also walk! Yes, bike and walking path side by side! Rent bikes at bottom of Denman St. Cross the road and start on the bike path! Great fun! Enjoy!
