Stop 5 minutes for information, got a $100 parking ticket.

The town is over-developed!! Seems they are more concerned with attracting residents than tourists.
Not a lot of things to do…not many gift shops anymore…one over-priced coffee shop…one expensive pub.
Harrison should be trying to attract services for tourism! Not many outdoor patios with a view of the water, which is what people want!
Oh! And the HHS Hotel?? Save your $$
- it needs an entire makeover!
Looks like they spent more $$ on their city hall!

Grundsätzlich super cooler See und echt warm. Ein Tagesausflug lohnt sich hier wirklich. Die Badesachen sollten unbedingt mitgenommen werden. Der einzige Wermutstropfen sind die aggressiven Mücken im Wald. So etwas haben wir noch nie erlebt. Wir empfehlen gutes Insektenspray.

I suppose that some of the water in the hot springs actually comes from the hot springs, but it’s heavily chlorinated. And the ambiance is like a holiday inn pool. Heavy chlorine smell, can’t smell the sulfur you usually smell at a real hot springs, and everyone is holding a beer in the pool and playing loud music. If you are looking for a tranquil, meditative hot spring experience, this place ain’t it. And for a hot springs that really isn’t a real hot springs, it’s outrageously expensive for what you end up getting. The lake is beautiful, but the resort leaves a lot to be desired. Would NOT recommend.

Much tree leaves, paper, plastic seen on the sidewalks beach front. Little parking in front of lake. Very nice scenery. Lots of bird waste in some beach areas. Water park, cold water but nice picnic areas but small in front of beach.

A short break after 2 covid years, we welcomed this family get-together! If the cold weather was warmer, it would have been better...but...at least the Sunday appeared for two short afternoons! We stayed at the Resort...very expensive...but the hot springs were what we wanted! I'd recommend a couple of nights in this quiet place...even the dogs are a bit hushed...LOL!!!! The views are fantastic!

Not quite worth the price. Nice to do once, but definitely overpriced for what you get. Stunning scenery and beautiful hiking trails, but in the room you're let with Kurig coffee, foam cups, wire coat hangers, and way too many children in the pools. Definitely not a quiet couples or adults only experience.
Also very poor options for food - buffet breakfast or Starbucks processed foods, pub food, or an array of overpriced pub style restaurants close by. No healthy options. You can bring your own food, but there is only a tiny mini fridge in the room with the option to use the microwave in the lobby.
For over $200 a night, we had high hopes. Save your money and go to Fairmont Hot Springs Resort.

With the warmer weather on its way, Harrison Hot Springs is a beautiful day trip from Langley, Vancouver or anywhere in the lower mainland.
Beautiful beaches, walking trails, biking, restaurants and more.
The annual sand castle building contest is something to see and definitely worth the drive.
This is definitely a location if you have visitors from out of province or to take the kids on a day trip.

Not quite the "resort" it's billed to be but probably a lot of fun in the summertime. Nice waterfront walk. Hot springs were really nice - lovely even in the rain

Even though the access to the hot spring was limited because of COVID we did not feel as though we missed out on anything on our first trip to Harrison Lake. We walked the town several times and found the views extraordinary. People were friendly and provided some insights into must sees. Advise we certainly took. We were here for a long weekend and longer would have allowed us to do more things but this was a great chance to dip our toes into the area.

I want to know if the road condition getting there is not slippery for my SUV front wheel drive all weather tire vehicle. This is from Coquitlam to your resort?

I haven't travelled down to there recently but I live just down the road at Chilliwack and conditions of roads are fine. Tomorrow's snow (Friday) might lay a few more centimeters though - it should still be OK in your vehicle, with All Weather tires

Is there a public beach area where we can have a barbecue and hangout swimming?

I don't believe there's an 'on-the-beach' area where you can set up a BBQ -- but definitely NOT within the Resort's area - they have signs posts on the grounds along the beach.
At the opposite end of the beach, you may still find some tables located on the grounds near the beach, where you might be able to do such? Not sure ... what's happening there, is changing. And as well, there's no free parking anywhere.
Best place, from what I've seen, is the 'Day Park' across the road from the entrance to Sasquatch Provincial Park. It's just a short drive up/alongside the Lake from Harrison Village. There are a couple of nice beach areas within there, and several spots with tables for BBQ'ing, dining, and etc.

If you are referring to the Harrison Hot Springs Hotel and Resort, you are not able to use the hot spring pools there unless you are a guest or if you use this hotel's spa services with a minimum of $100.00. Then you have access to their five mineral pools. If you are referring to the public pool, the cost is reasonable - Under $10.00, if I recall correctly. We were not guests of the Harrison Hot Springs Hotel, so we booked spa services to gain access to the five mineral pools.
