Plateau de Dong Van absolument magnifique.

Ne perdez pas trop de temps à Hà Giang qui n'a pas l'hospitalité du plateau. La route pour aller à Dong Van est magnifique. La ville de Dong Van est très accueillante. Allez visiter la forteresse française pour une vue imprenable sur la ville. Allez voir le vieux village de Cųm Cây Da Cô Thiêm Huong pour voir les ethnies les arbres de plus de 350 ans selon la légende et les montagnes chinoises de la frontière. Prenez la route pour Meo Vac et arrêtez-vous au Ma Pi Leng Skywalk, puis au Ma Pi Leng panorama restaurant (30k pour entrer et avoir une vue magnifique). La route est très dangereuse.

Nếu lên cao nguyên đá đồng văn, có lẽ đi xe máy là trải nghiệm tuyệt vời nhất. Đươc vi vu trên những cung đường đồi núi gấp khuỷa tay, dốc cao phải chạy số 1 và đươcj thả đèo là một trải nghiệm không thể quên.

Wat een prachtig gebied!

Ik heb nooit geweten, dat er zoveel tinten groen bestaan. Zulke mooie valleien, grillige rotsformaties en canyons. Een goede weg voert door het gebied.

This is one of the most beautiful mountain ranges with some of the most scenic scenery ever. Beautiful little towns along your drive with the perfect picture opportunities ever. The views are storybook perfect. A must do.

Spektakuläre Aussichten, tolle Natur!

Wir waren im Oktober 2019 vier Tage dort oben in Nordvietnam unterwegs.
Man sollte unbedingt genug Zeit einplanen da man am liebsten nach jeder Kurve anhalten würde, um die Aussicht zu genießen und Fotos zu schießen.
Die Natur, die Landschaft und die Aussicht sind wirklich atemberauben!

Sehr zu empfehlen, aber unbedingt genug Zeit mitbringen und nicht hetzen!

Dong Van Rock Plateau (or Dong Van mountain plateau) is a rock plateau spread over four districts of Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Dong Van and Meo Vac of Ha Giang Province, Vietnam. On October 3, 2010, the profile "Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark" was officially recognized by UNESCO's Global Geopark Network (GGN) Advisory Council as Global Geopark. . At the time, this was currently the only title in Vietnam and the second in Southeast Asia.
The Dong Van rock plateau is located in the northernmost mountainous region of Vietnam, with an area of ​​2356.8 km² and an average elevation of about 1,400 - 1,600 m. The plateau has many limestone mountains close to the Tropic of Cancer, with a rather steep slope. The valleys, rivers and streams are very much divided.

At present, Dong Van rock plateau area is home to about 250,000 people of 17 different ethnic minorities in Vietnam. Since April 2010, the Dong Van rock plateau profile has been submitted to UNESCO as a global geological park. This is also the first global geological park of Vietnam.

De Ha Giang loop gedaan. Een echte aanrader. Één van de plaatsen die je moet gezien hebben. Een heel vriendelijke bevolking. Verkeer is wel chaotisch en levensgevaarlijk.

Trip across Northern Vietnam

We flew into Hanoi and did a bus trip into the mountains to the north, along the border of China. The scenery was spectacular as we wound our way across the hilltops along very windy roads. Stayed in home stays along the way which was interesting to see how the locals live tending to their rice fields. Our tour guide from ‘Wide Eyed Tours’ took us to restaurants along the way and ordered the delicious food for the group. Thanks Hai for looking after us. Not much English is spoken by the locals so it was really good to have him show us around. Every day was eventful. Lots to see and do.
