We have visited here several times over the years but it seems to have had a bit of extra tlc and is looking particularly good. Lovely vegetable garden complete with planting like marigolds to prevent grub damage. Young children will enjoy running around and hiding because there are lots of garden ‘rooms’. A plant finder app Is useful. Used book store and currently good ice creams and hot drinks available from a silver Citroen sort of Winnebago run by Italians. It is all very photogenic and calming. A few plants to buy and postcards but not a commercial venture. Never very busy so distancing easy and hand sanitiser readily available.

First time we had been to see the gardens. A lovely way to spend a sunny afternoon. Looking forward to return visits in other seasons.

Very pleasant visit, we stayed 3 hours.
Level, but gravel and path surfaces not easy for a wheelchair.

What a pleasure this modest gardens were. Arriving just as the gardens opened and met by enthusiastic volunteers who are keen to share this special site.

Formal lawns, woodland and water gardens are all here.

It was great fun watching dragon files on the ponds, and the photographers trying to catch the perfect shot of them in flight.

Only slight disappointment was the catering facilities which were sub par, little in the way of GF options and the refrigerator was not working very well as cold drinks barely cool and the chocolate cake soft when it was supposed to be crisp

Nice place to spend time

We arrived around 4pm on a week day. Wandered around this lovely garden until it shut. Plenty to see I recommend using the map as although it's fairly small we couldn't find the pond at first.

We love The Courts Garden, the whole site is easy enough to walk around in an hour with plenty to catch the eye. Everything is so well maintained, a credit to the volunteers that look after the gardens. The little cafe serves amazing baguettes and rolls, etc.,
Definitely worth a visit.

This was our second visit to this lovely garden and arboretum. Last time we walked cross country to get here but this time we parked in Holt and walked a short distance to the garden.
There is no parking provided by National Trust so you either have to park in the road or find a car park.
We pre booked as this is requested at weekends to be sure of entry.
Staff were very friendly on arrival and welcomed us back.
There is a one way system in operation and you pass the toilets just after entering the gardens.
The tea room is closed but there is a van near the second hand bookshop selling drinks, cakes and sandwiches but they are top dollar.
Followed the path round the garden, the borders are beautiful at this time of year and there are the bushes cut to the shape of dancing coffee beans which are unusual.
The pond had a lot of blanket weed on it which rather spoilt the reflection of the bridge that goes over the water.
Lots of families were picnicking but there were only a few tables so folk were mainly on the grass.
Plenty of lovely plants to look at and so much bird song as you walk through the arboretum.
A lot of hard work clearly goes into maintaining the gardens so beautifully and it is a place that can be enjoyed and appreciated by all.

The gardens are very well kept with a mixture of cottage, wild areas and formal gardens. 7 acres as the lovely staff at the start informed us. The lily pond was quite spectacular. Spent just over an hour there. Well-recommended.

We visited here on a glorious May afternoon and spent about three hours wandering around the gardens. The staff at the ticket office were helpful and friendly and the coffee van was able to take advantage of the sunshine and offer lovely outdoor seating for the delicious chocolate brownie and banana bread we had.
The gardens really are spectacular, a selection of divided areas including a wildflower meadow and a wilderness and several water features. It is not a huge garden so was ideal for my 80 year old aunt but there is a lot of variety and it is very well maintained. I took over a hundred photos so it was hard to choose ones to keep as there were so many photogenic vistas and details.

Gardens are wonderful, but the cafe van needs attention. We had coffee and hot chocolate - all were lukewarm. we took them back and they apologised and did them again - exactly the same result! Obviously a problem with milk heating, but at £3 they should be hot!
