Isla turística, mucho turismo local. Lo mejor la cascada Seven falls y el atardecer en pantan Cenang. No ideal para snorkel.

I understand why there are so many negative reviews left by visitors. I agree, the place has much to be improved starting with garden landscaping. It needs more trees, plants to provide a more pleasant environment for visitors and animals.
Despite the heat (we had an umbrella and hats), our family of four did enjoy ourselves and spent over 2 hours there. We basically had the whole park to ourselves as it was the muslim fasting month. It was quiet, and something we really appreciated since everywhere else was bustling with hyped adults and screeching kids.
The animals looked malnourished particularly the carnivore. Nevertheless, animals in captivity are never happy looking. The lone otter broke our hearts with its cries when we were leaving and the birds were friendly and welcomed the seeds we bought to feed them.
The highlight and the reason we chose to visit this nature park was the mangrove walk. No regrets. Love how serene the place was. If you're not a nature lover you might want to skip this place altogether because it's just rows and rows of mangrove trees. The day before we went on a mangrove tour by boat and that was great too!
This is not a petting zoo, the other one is and more suited for young kids. I hope they could listen to the complaints here and improve on the park by adding more trees for shade. So much potential really.

I have always used TA for recommendations but i registered today only to express my displeasure at this unbelievable zoo....seriously, when we were there is was stinking HOT. and me and my partner felt so sorry for the animals which didnt get much shade from the sun.....animal areas are also like a desert, nothing for them to do all day long. sigh, how can this pit be approved by the governemnt??
staff are sitting around cahtting or using their phones. why not do something for the bored animals? a staff said they might get elephants. SERIOUSLY?? is there no one going to protest this plan?
it was also very expensive. a waste of time and we left feeling depressed. the only time in Langkawai island we felt terrible. this zoo needs to be closed, please somebody help those poor animals. :(

Die Idee und das Konzept des Langkawi Nature Park sind eigentlich recht gut. Nur die Ausführung, Umsetzung und der Unterhalt lässt in vielen Teilen sehr zu wünschen übrig. Der schön angelegte Mangroventrail ist wohl das Beste. Dass wegen Unterhaltsarbeiten am Boot keine Bootstouren angeboten werden können, schien uns nicht glaubhaft. Dass bereits beim Eingang darauf hingewiesen wurde, dass aktuell kein Elefant, keine Löwe etc. da seien, war ok. Ob allerdings die Tiere, meist alleine, in karger Begrünung mit wenig Möglichkeit zu Beschäftigung auch noch musikalisch beschallt werden möchten, ist nicht anzunehmen. Die grosse Vogelvoliere hätte dagegen noch massig Platz für Gefieder und warum darin der Pfau und die Hühner zusätzlich eingesperrt werden, ist schleierhaft.

Ce parc est une prison horrible ! Les animaux sont en plein soleil et manquent d'eau. Les félins sont seuls affamés (le lion peinait à se lever et ses côtés étaient apparentes). Le parc est en plein soleil, très désagréable pour les visiteurs et vraiment horrible pour les animaux.
Dans la volière, les poules sont marquées telles des animaux sauvages et tous les oiseaux sont groupes dans les coins hauts de la cage. Les wallabies sont effrayés.
Au niveau des félins, les vitres de protection sont très minces et les pauvres bêtes vous jettent des regards plein de pitié. C'est affligeant.
Les boeufs de riziere n'avaient ni herbe à brouter, ni eau où se tremper. Idem pour les tigres qui n'avaient que leur abreuvoir comme point d'eau. Il manquait la moitié des animaux et pourtant le prix reste le même.
Ce parc est non seulement à fuir, mais surtout à fermer de toute urgence !

They had a few animals. We enjoyed seeing the tigers. It's still a work in progress. They need more trees and also all the concrete walls could be decorated. We hoped for the boat ride in the mangrove, but the boat is under maintenance, not sure for how long. I thought it was nice that they gave a senior discount even to international visitors.

Let me start by saying DO NOT GO. These poor animals are mostly housed in enclosures of concrete walls and grass with few other parts in them to occupy or stimulate the animals. Visitors can feed the Sun bears with bread.WTF!!This is definitely not part of there diet and the fact they came so quick for it makes us wonder about there nutrition when the park is closed.This place is TERRIBLE and should be closed permantley.

For tourist as well as animal lovers, I do not think this is a very recommended place to go. The fee my family and I had to pay was very expensive and not worth it. The gift shop has nothing special and does not have souvenirs that represent Langkawi Nature Park, the souvenirs are just things you can buy anywhere in Langkawi. There are only a few things displayed too. The service at the restaurant was very bad, they have a lot of emplyees there and they took a long time to prepare a meal. The funny thing is, the beverages does not have the right price. Inside the gift shop was cheaper but the restaurant was more expensive.
This park has different animals from around the world but the condition of their habitat and the safety of visitors are not well taken cared of. The park has no trees at all, it was scorching hot for humans and the animals. When my family and I went to observe the animals, we felt bad and pity for them as they were famished, hot and their habitats were not clean and inhabitable. For the Predator Castle, it was dangerous for visitors and the construction of it was disappointing, the glass was so thin between the animals and us, the lion even bang the glass as it saw us walking past it.
This park is not fully constructed and they still allow visitor to explore. I wish the authorities will take notice of the park’s terrible condition and take measures immediately.

بصراحة ماتستحق الزيارة لانه باين عليها جديدة ومااكتملت والحيوانات قليلة جدا لم انبسط بهذي التجربة ولا راح اعيد زيارتها

I will suggest to go before 5pm if you dont want to miss the mangrove visit and river cruise.. we werent told both the visit is only till 6pm. Miss the chance. Wildlife is not really complete yet. Grand opening was only last week. Will suggest to only visit when is more complete.

Last week the ticketing staff was very honest telling us some animals are not available although the brochure said they were. Anyway we purchased tickets because we thought the mangrove walkway would certainly be attractive.
However the entrance to the walkway was locked at 4pm and efforts by other staff to contact the person in charge failed. So we felt it was a total rip off 😠
