We visited this holy Gurudwara Sahib, where Guru Nanak ji visited during his second travel (Udaasi). He was asked to bless the residents with sweet water and it is said that he hit the ground with his right foot and sweet water started flowing, which is continuing till date. This water source is accessible on the ground floor and Guru Granth Sahib is positioned on the floor above.
The best thing is that devotees are from all faiths. We were happy to see Muslim families in this Gurudwara Sahib.
Free freshly cooked food is available in the langar hall, served with a smile.
Finally, we took Prasad for our friends and relatives.

The Gurudwara is located little bit outside old city but wel connected with local Autos. Gurudwara is having ample rooms bid enough to accommodate 5 adults with reasonable charges of Rs 550/- per day per room. Rooms are AC with hot water arrangement . One night stay is suggested for Gurudwara Darshan & Langer etc.

The Gurudwara is a place that you must visit! WE went on a weekday, and there were absolutely no crowds. Parking is available inside the premises. The whole area gives you a feeling of great peace! The Langar provides wholesome food, and is neat and clean. I enjoyed the simple fare, doled out by the caring helpers.

Bidar is a small town in the northernmost tip of Karnataka state, and it is about 135 km driving distance from Hyderabad. The road to Bidar is along NH65 till Zaheerabad, and then there is a right turn to Bidar for about 35 km along the state highway. It took us about 3 hours from Hyderabad.
The Gurudwara Nanak Jhira Sahib is located in a large well planned campus, and is a beautiful place of worship for the Sikhs. The main Gurudwara is a beautiful building in white marble in the centre of the campus. There is a large satsang hall nearby. There is also a huge 500 room pilgrim’s inn, and engineering college and a 100 bed hospital in the campus.
Since we were visiting during the pandemic there were some restrictions in moving around. We visited the main gurudwara, and then went to the ‘Amrit Kund’, which is the perennial spring (Jhira) discovered by Baba Guru Nanak Dev himself, more than 500 years ago, and tasted the refreshing sweet water emerging from the spring. Free langar is distributed during normal times.
It was a spiritual experience to visit the Gurudwara.

How to reach this Gurudwara Sahib, Like if we are coming from Pune, best mode of transport from Pune to Bidar (By Train, By Road), Any suggestions will be very helpful
Scritta in data 23 febbraio 2018
Hi,
Since you would be travelling from Pune, I would recommend boarding the train 22143/Mumbai CSMT - Bidar SF Express. It reaches Pune at 12:30 am and Bidar at 9 am.
Make sure you book 3A compartment and not SL coach to avoid inconvenience caused by people travelling without reservation.
From Bidar station, auto rickshaws can take you to the Gurudwara for Rs. 40-50.
You can read my detailed blog post on my visit to Bidar. Just Google "The Travelizer" and you would get the link.
