Beautiful Temple and Hike
mar 2019
A lovely little hike brings you to this temple and this is a temple revered by pilgrims and thousands of people visit this during Navaratras. The hike is small and enjoyable yet if you are not comfortable now there's a ropeway.

A quick visit unravels a beautiful experience.

I was on a business trip to Dewas... the business friends accompanying knew a local businessman who is a hotelier and also owns the 'Cable Car' towards Maa Chamunda Devi Temple. When we visited his office at Dewas, he immediately expressed us to extend him with a privilege of taking us for a visit to the shrine atop a hill. Considering the offer as a blissful opportunity we accompanied him in his cable car. Although that the hill top equates an altitude approximating the Mansa Devi temple at Hardwar; yet the experience within a small vestibule of the cable car was a great experience. The small vestibule can contain only 4 persons and it slides upward in a gentle manner while displaying the plain green fields spread beneath.

There are two temples atop the hill. One temple is of Lord Hanuman and the another is of Maa Chamunda Devi. Both the temples are placed as two ends of a semi circle on that hill. The experience especially at Chamunda Devi temple was full of powerful vibrations since the shrine is encased within a small cave like abode.

Our host informed us that the shrine is charged on account of powerful vibrations left by a great sage who stayed over there for a long period. The sage was a reservoir of several paranormal powers and the local monarchs withstand the testimony of their experiences with that great sage. It is known that the sage disappeared from Dewas and the only moment when his name surfaced was... when his Samadhi was noticed at Rishikesh.

We returned with a great experience that was not our objective of that short visit.
