I visited the Rajgir Nature Safari and the experience was terrible. I don't recommend anyone goes there. First, the online ticket booking for entry + glass bridge did not work, and I had to call/whatsapp, pay on some other number and only then did I get the ticket. (2) No queue discipline. A family belonging to Forest Deptt. was allowed to enter ahead of everyone else. Symptomatic of the rampant corruption that exists in Bihar. (3) You have to show your ticket at least 10 times at various points. (4) No slot management. I had a slot of 10-11am and I found people of later slots standing in the queue. Thus the queue was very long and we had to wait 2 hours in a line to get to the glass bridge. (5) At the end, the glass bridge is small and nothing remarkable about it.
What a pity! We can spend crores on the infrastructure but mismanagement will take it to dust.

Rajgir Hot Springs are the sacred natural water springs in Rajgir, situated near Pandu Pokhar / Venu Van. Situated at the foot of the Vaibhava Hill, Hot Water Springs are one of the most popular attractions of Rajgir. It is said that the Hot Springs has their medicinal values which help to cure many skin ailments. The water from the spring is collected in an enclosure, called Brahmakund, which is accessible by a staircase. The Brahmakund spring is regarded as the most sacred one as well as the hottest one. There are also outlets with running hot water where one can bathe. The Brahamakund was a relatively small water tank and had a narrow and slippery staircase, spotted several men and women, taking bath, not very clean and may not be fitting for all, we just put some hot water in our head and left the place. Due to continuous water flow, the premises are slippery and one has to be extra cautious. A Lakshmi Narayan Temple is located beside the hot spring. There is also provision for shoe rack. One may encounter pandas here too, individual discretion is recommended in dealing with them.

There are multiple ancient hot springs including the most famous one, Brahma kund.
The waters are said to have medicinal properties, can heal various skin and other diseases.
Not allowed to carry soap inside.
It is surrounded by a few hindu temples to Shiva and other Gods.
It's a refreshing experience for visitors in rajgir. But be careful in covid time.

The hot springs could have been a very good place as the warm water gives a real relaxing feeling but the obnoxious habit of linking everything to religion and the prevalence of men everywhere makes it very uncomfortable for women. First and foremost, there is a fake pandit standing at the entrance forcing everyone to offer puja before entering the spring which is absolutely ridiculous. Next all spring taps have men bathing, which makes it impossible for women to bathe there. Even the Brahmakund is filled with men and they are gloriuosly bathing away for hours inconsiderate of the women folk trying to get a feel of the warm water. Most women are just putting some water on their head and walking away out of shyness. When we entered the water, these men were gawking at us. Obviously, they have never seen women bathe from so close. Uncivilized as they were, no one had the basic courtesy to leave the water for a while as they had already been there for must be hours. There is a changing room for women which has no light and was smelling profusely of urine. It was evident that women did not bathe and so the changing room had become a toilet. Bihar tourism is at its worst here. Women please don't go.

I did not think that a dip in the hot mineral spring on a hot day would be a pleasant experience . It was surprisingly spiritual though and i felt extremely grateful to be able to do so. The pandemic was an advantage that there were very few visitors .
