Provides the excellent views of the mountain ranges. Small walk down a very dirty path with poor maintenance of the viewpoint. Buzzing hotels and small shops around area. Just 2 km drive from the dal Lake. Better to visit on days with clear views.

The sunset played truant as thick black clouds hid the sun...and then...but the view of the snow capped Dhauladhar mountain range made up for all the disappointment. U should see it to enjoy the view...it is breathtakingly beautiful to say the least...

There were other places around the place where the view of sunset was better. To travel all the way to Naddi for this is only if you have enough time. Place was crowded, not clean and commercial.

The beauty of Naddi Viewpoint could almost rival the view from the top of Triund, yet it is very accessible via a drive which makes it an easy reward for little effort. It is also a wonderful place to just chillax while you eat a plate of Maggi noodles!

Naddi View Point is a must visit place in Dharamshala. Our driver covered this point while going to Mcleodganj. Here you will experience breathtaking views of the mighty Dhauladhar ranges. Not very overcrowded as we visited during the daytime. If you want to experience morning or sunset view then plan to stay at Naddi.

We did a small walk that went downhill. It was lined with rhododendron trees. A very pretty and romantic walk with a view of the dhauladhar range.

The car goes to almost the start point . Small cafe and shops selling chips fruits water etc can be found. The views are breathtaking . There is also a yoga ashram where they will be happy to give you a free demo if meditation and you can practise with the ashram staff who are very welcoming . The views point itself is amazing and you can see river mountains rare birds . Must visit

Amazing view from this point of dhauladhar range of mountains. You can visit this place and have some food as there are lots of local food vendor are present nearby this place. Opposite to that you can find sunset point as well which is decent and nice.

Is there a way to get to the view point without trekking? I’m asking because I plan to bring my elderly mum with me on holiday, and she will not be able to do any trekking.

If I remember correctly, we walked a few hundred yards from the car along a road, so easily accessible.

Yah there vehicle goes up to this view point. No trekking is compulsory. As I have also hired taxi for full day to visit bear by places.

Yes you can very easiely get near naddi point where you can get mountain virw
Even if you staying at other place , you will get taxi for Rs 500 up n down to the route of naddi point

it is at Mcleodganj, actually Mcleodganj is upper part of dharamshala and that is the main touriest place so stay there only and u can reach there by car,taxi,auto
It is good to visit at triund in december..... Is there any difficulty because of snowfall

Yes indeed but u got be very watchful while taking 1st turn towards Naddi road. Yhe road is extremely steep that if u loose control in car gear, it car will go back & cause accident. You got be very expert for this turn. Stay blessed.

I visited Naddi in June. No idea about weather in March.
It's just about 5 kms. from the Main Square but the road is a bit topsy-turvy. You can cover this place in half-a-day from McLeod.
I suggest to cover other nearby and on-the-way places too.
