As always an unforgettable experience. This time, I saw that the Vigil House grew (I was here in 2018), very good to see this evolution. Congratulations to everyone!! I will come back many times!!

Super recommended place and really is very nice, we went on a sunny day and made the most immersive experience, but the place has the ability to receive on tb rainy days, with a beautiful garden with live music to the guitar, all the dishes were delicious but the rib was the highlight, it was spectacular, wines at will and tasty, a place to enjoy without hurry.

We order the 10-step menu and 10 dishes and 10 types of wine are sold, and you can repeat. All dishes were very tasty and well harmonized. At each dish we received the explanations along with the harmonization.
The amount can be paid in dollars (140 per person) or weights card. This is the price for the 10 steps at dinner and if we arrive more than an hour earlier for the guided tour (already taking wine).

A beautiful place, with stoves, a very nice garden, gardens very well ⁇ ined and a well integrated architecture with great service, a very nice visit, fun without being so didactic, as many wineries do, focusing more on the history of the winemaker and unusual details. In addition, it is here that is the restaurant Casa Vigil, one of the best in the city. It is worth every penny to visit the Gran Enemigo tasting with the harmonized menu of Casa Vigil.

Third time and always flawless quality. It's not cheap but it's worth every penny of a dollar. NICOLAS, GABI AND DIEGO have broken. Perfect meat and impeccable tasting. Impossible to come to Mendoza without the Vigil House.

A beautiful winery, wonderful history. A separate paragraph the wines that are excellent (I already knew the wine). The friendly guide with adequate knowledge to make us enjoy drinks 🍷 to those who do not have so much experience. Recommended!

We went there to enjoy the last meal of our honeymoon, and this was the last bodega on our schedule. As it is known for being a must-see in Mendoza, we couldn't let the experience be overshadowed by other bodegas, so we left Casa Vigil as the icing on the cake of our trip.
Everything was going great! We were served with great wines at the entrance, and the explanations given were very interesting from the beginning. Let it be noted that we arrived around 2:30 pm; this is important.
We sat inside, as all the other tables outside were already occupied because it was a beautiful blue sky day and the sun was very pleasant, and it was ok to sit inside.
We ordered the 3-course menu, and I literally cried when I took the first bite of the starter. The flavor and attention to every element of the dish was absurd. We also ordered 3 wine pairings as we just wanted to try them as we drank too much at the bodega before Vigil. Then we ate the main course, which was as delicious as I imagined.
The portions are quite large, so we took a while before ordering dessert and asked the waiter, Horacio (which is also important to take into consideration, as he was our waiter from the beginning until that time and we had great service with him), if we could go out in the garden to take some photos. He said there was no problem. We got up and went outside to check out the sculptures and decorations, took several photos and enjoyed some musicians playing with other Brazilian customers. It was truly a great and unforgettable afternoon.
Then we saw Horacio, who was accompanied by a group of people, probably starting a tour of the place, close to the reception. We stood there for a while to listen, but he asked us to wait for the next tour which would take place in about 15 minutes. We wanted to eat dessert, so we sat down and didn't watch the tour.
Now all the sadness, rush and bad service started...
We were greeted at the table by a previously unknown woman, as we knew that Horacio was on a tour, which clearly made sense. But she started off saying something like, "We didn't know where you guys were! We thought you were gone," like, why would I do that? Strange, right? They don't communicate about customers wanting to come out to take photos? But okay, it's okay.
We sat down and desserts were served, but not in the relaxed vibe we had before. The waitress seemed to be in a hurry to serve us and kept looking at us as if we had to eat quickly. There were people cleaning the tables, and we thought they were getting ready for dinner. This was around 4:30 pm. We finished our desserts very calmly, just as we did with all the other dishes. We paired it with the wines and, as soon as she saw that the plates were empty, she asked to remove them. All is well then...
Almost every minute after that, she kept asking if we wanted anything else, but I had just finished eating, I wanted to check the menu, but not at that moment. And she did this two or three times and then brought us the bill. We hadn't finished drinking, nor had a chance to check the menu for anything else. We weren't properly informed that we would have to leave because the kitchen was going to close, nor was there anything written or said that indicated we should leave before 5pm or anything like that, but she brought the bill anyway, even though I hadn't asked for it.
It was our last day, and paying in Argentina is not that simple, especially after an expensive experience. As I was checking my bank account to make sure my card would go through without any problems, she appeared again asking what the payment method would be. I was still checking my things, and she came back less than 30 seconds after bringing the bill that I didn't order.
We still had wine in our glasses; we hadn't finished our experience! What happened to cause this sudden change in behavior? I told her I needed more time, as I was still checking my bills and finishing my wine, and she kind of rolled her eyes and said we needed to go pay with her at the tienda, where the card machine was.
Like, what happened? Is this how you end a Michelin experience? Bringing the bill without being asked, not being informed about the kitchen closing time? Being rushed to pay even though I haven't finished the wine I paid for?
Everything went from wine to sour, rotten vinegar when I was almost escorted by her to the tienda to pay, and she watched me while I paid. She said something like, "I have to stay here to make sure I get paid" or something like that.
After the card went through, she thanked me and apologized. I was shocked at how bad this experience ended. Was I going to run away from the cashier? What was she thinking when she was "guaranteeing" my payment?
I ended up crying in front of my wife. I didn't want our honeymoon to end on such a bad vibe. We were treated extremely well at first, only to finish hurriedly and be treated like untrustworthy people by the waitress.
I asked to see the manager, and he decided he would offer us a few glasses of wine because of the inconvenience, but I refused, because I believe that this is not the way to resolve a problem like this. Instead, the importance of what I was saying about the sudden service change should be recognized, and steps should be taken to avoid such problems for future customers. He seemed like he didn't care enough about it to analyze the situation with the attention it deserved and just wanted to get around the problem, not solve it.
This is an honest review of a complete experience, and I hope it improves for future customers. They should explain their schedules better and not rush people out of such a prestigious restaurant, leaving them feeling guilty for taking too long to eat or that they wouldn't pay the bill or something...

Envío a continuación el detalle de todo lo ofrecemos.
Hacemos visitas guiadas y degustaciones a las 9.30, 11.30, 15.30 o 16.30hs de lunes a sábados y los domingos a las 9.30 y 11.30hs. Tenemos degustaciones desde $340 hasta $1640.
El restaurant está abierto de lunes a sábados al mediodía de 12 a 15.30hs.
El almuerzo está compuesto por 3 pasos:
Recepción: variedad de panes caseros, baguette, focaccia, y pan de vino tinto y api acompañados de frascos a base de legumbres, escabeches, cremosos, emulsiones y salsas.
Entradas: (elección entre)
- Risotto de tres quinoas
- Sopa de tuberculos y verdeo
- Empanada mendocina con encurtido de aceitunas
- Huevo crocante a baja temperatura con legumbres
- Chorizo casero con romesco de morrones ahumados
Platos Principales ( elección entre)
- Ojo de Bife con papas arrugadas y pimientos asados
- Bondiola ahumada con relish de repollo, batatas asadas y emulsion de mebrillo
- Osobuco cocido 12 horas a 80° en pure de cebollas y coliflor
- Malfatti de zapallo con suero de parmesano y espinacas al ajillo
- Ravioles de trucha curada con crema de zanahorias e hinojos
- Goulash de cordero con spaetzle de cúrcuma y pimentón ahumado
-Hortalizas con pesto de tomates deshidratados

- Flan de huevo y vainilla con mousse de dulce de leche
- Peras al cabernet franc con crema de canela
- Marquise de chocolate amargo con salsa tibia de chocolate blanco y trufa de citricos

El costo del almuerzo es $980 por persona. No incluye vinos pero hay degustaciones desde $340 hasta $1640 para acompañar el almuerzo las cuales detallo a continuación:

Para los niños tenemos menú infantil el cual tiene un costo de $385.
El almuerzo incluye una visita por la bodega que tiene una duración de 30 minutos aproximadamente la cual pueden hacerla antes o después del almuerzo, de acuerdo al horario de llegada. Si la quieren hacer antes deberían llegar a las 12.15hs sino pueden hacerla después del almuerzo.
En el caso de las cenas, abrimos los miércoles, jueves y viernes únicamente con reserva previa. La cena está compuesta por un menú de 6 pasos que incluye la degustación de 9 vinos de El Enemigo y tiene un costo de $2800 por persona si son menos de 6, o $1900 si son más de 6.

Quero fazer uma reserva para visita na Bodega El Enimigo para dois adultos e duas crianças (12 e 15 anos). Como as crinças não vão degustar vinhos, faço a reserva para duas pessoas e as crianças poderão nos acompanhar? Estou com essa dúvida. Agradeço quem puder me ajudar.

Tem sim, o cartão serve apenas para garantia da reserva, não é cobrado nada nele, você irá fazer o pagamento no dia, da forma que desejar.
