The beach in front of Canoa stretches another 14 km down the coast. It's wide with a number of shelters you can rent or just lay out in the sun. There are restaurants and booths set up to get a drink or something to eat.

Un poblado costero lleno de visa, restaurantes de buena calidad, hotel para todas las economías, con ventas de artesanías.

I went on a Canoa trip a year ago and it is a beautiful place that everyone should visit, the people who treat you with great affection, a place where you can have a good time with your friends, its beaches are very beautiful, as well as its gastronomy, is located on the spondilus route.
They should especially visit the chameleon camp where you can take your tent and sleep very quietly with the people you go, in that place they have a pelican called Oscar.

Praia grande, tranquila, limpa e muito bonita. Fui em Janeiro de 2020 e tinha pouquíssimas pessoas, o que deu um ar desolado na paisagem. Tem uma infraestrutura simples de tendas que você pode usufruir das cadeiras por um pequeno preço, e há vários quiosques também, onde pode se comprar bons ceviches e encebolados. O tempo é meio instável em Janeiro mas via de regra peguei um bom calor. Ótima opção para quem busca uma praia bonita e tranquila. E com um por do sol fantástico.

en la noche suele haber música a alto volumen en la parte central, en el día es tranquila y se puede nadar y tomar sol con mucha tranquilidad a excepción de los domingos que baja mucha gente de los pueblos aledaños. una de las playas más bonitas de Manabí en donde hay mucha tranquilidad para el turista nacional y extranjero. Muchos sitios en donde se puede comer y la gastronomía de una buena calidad con sazón manabita.

Es una playa muy bonita, bastante limpia aunque puede estar mejor. Es una pequeña ciudad que ha crecido; las Autoridades deben preocuparse más por su desarrollo. Existe una buena infraestructura hotelera y un buen número de restaurantes. La comida manabita es exquisita. Este mes que visité hace bastante frío, pero cuando uno ingresa al mar el agua es caliente. Es un buen lugar para disfrutar.

This place is great, long beach, there are business and restaurants in front of town and if you want a quieter section of beach just walk down a little ways, it's 17km of yellow sand. You can surf, swim, watch the fishermen, play volleyball or soccer, there are paragliders and hang gliders (you can sometimes pay to go for a flight with them), basically a chill spot with lots to do.

Plage très agréable, population locale très gentille toujours là pour nous conseiller ou nous aider ! Magnifiques couchers de soleil et un bar à jus ADICTO A LAS OLAS (à côté du poste de surveillance) très très bon, des jus frais faits sous nos yeux avec des produits locaux !

This little Beach town has a lot more to offer than first meets the eye. First thing you notice, although the town is small and unassuming the beach is packed with cabanas, beach bars, various equipment rentals & fishing boats, with annother row of bars, restaurants and hostels along the drive that parallels the beach.
I should mention that all facilities are rural south American standard not western Europe or USA standard not even Thai standard.
That said, we found Canoa beach to be quite hip and very enjoyable because there are so many fun quirky and down right friendly Expats from USA, UK, Canada and other English speaking countries who run many of the various businesses along the beach and in the town, along with many more who have retired here, that make a traveler feel so very welcome.
I should mention that all facilities are rural south American standard not western Europe or USA standard not even Thai standard.

A great beach for both surfers and families. Lots of eateries and drinks on the beach and the beach road. Can be very noisy at weekends and in high season.
