The entire trip was 10/10. The crew makes sure you are comfortable settling in. The ride is a little bumpy which is to be expected on a speed boat. So if you get queasy easily I suggest you bring some Dramamine. The captain and crew are extremely attentive to every individual aboard the vessel at all times. Lunch was a beautiful spread of cold cuts and sides to go along with your cold cut sandwich. Drinks never stop flowing including water, soda, juice, and of course mixed drinks with Bacardi rum. The first spot we went to was beautiful crystal clear waters to snorkel in. The second spot at flamenco beach was stunning. From the beautiful turquoise waters to the white sand that feels like you’re walking on a cloud. Then a wonderful spread of fresh fruit after your 2 hour swim at flamenco. This crew goes above and beyond expectations every single second of the whole 6 hour+ trip. This has been the highlight of my vacation. You do not want to miss out on this.

The boat crew was awesome. They took very good care and were friendly and professional. The actual time snorkeling was disappointing. The number of people in the boat was 30+ people so when you get that many people in the water, at a location that is a limited area to snorkel, it’s not optimal. If you really want to snorkel, this is not the tour. If you want to visit the beach and enjoy the stunning scenery- this is excellent. The crew slowed down and spotted a whale. They also spotted dolphins. The reef was beautiful. All in all a wonderful trip and well worth the spend. We had an amazing time.

Some friends and I booked the power boat snorkeling & beach tour with Sail Getaways in April. The entire crew was incredibly friendly, and really great! The trip from Fajardo to Culebra is 1 hour, and the trip over was extremely bumpy. I suffer from motion sickness and got sick on the way over there. The crew was speedy in helping me and even moved my seat to help with the motion sickness - thank you!! The island was beautiful and we went snorkeling for 30 mins- 1 hour then moved to Flamenco Island and spent a few hours there. The day was absolutely beautiful and the crew was great, providing us with lunch and beverages. The trip back to Fajardo was much smoother and enjoyable. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable trip! So worth it!

Crew were professional and attentive to all riders on deck.
The only negative thing I have to bring up is that we had booked this tour a while ago and had already planned our whole itinerary. During our trip in Puerto Rico, they reached out to let us know that the boat had “scheduled maintenance” for the same day they had opened for the public to book aka me. This messed up everything and we really had wanted to make the trip to flamingo beach so we had no choice but to miss out on our other excursion for that day and lost $400 just to do this excursion.
I hope that this isn’t a regular thing they do as travelers have planned itineraries and when they unexpectedly can no longer do the day they had opened for bookings it forces us to loose out on experiences and money as we had only so limited days here in Puerto Rico. I regret loosing my money and doing our scheduled excursions just because they had wrongly opened their bookings to the public on a day they had “scheduled maintenance”.
Make sure to call them and double check before booking so you don’t have to lose out like I did.

We left our house at 6.00 am and gos stated us that we will be at Sailgetway by 6.58 am and our time of arrival as per booking was 7.30 am
But since we had a three year old and an elderly person we decided to get there earlier . On the way we hit rush hour traffic and a major car accident. But we kept sent a chat informing the company that there is an accident and our ETA changed to 7.31 am . We received no response from them then we got a call from someone who asked what our eta was as traffic wasn’t moving and I am sure there were aware about it . But unfortunately we got there around 8.07 am and they told us that the boat had departed and we were considered as no show which wasn’t true and we messaged their support team. They wouldn’t refund us or accommodate us on another boat , the person was comparing their boat to a plane LOL . And telling us that a plane doesn’t wait for anyone . Not sure if he has ever been on a plane as if there is a passenger or passengers that have a connecting flight the departuring flight will accommodate for the slight delay .

We understand that unforeseen circumstances, such as traffic delays and accidents, can arise during travel. As part of our commitment to providing excellent service, our team reached out to you at 7:19 a.m. as a customary courtesy call to confirm your location and ensure you had all necessary assistance with driving directions. During this call, it was communicated that our check-in time is 7:30 a.m., with a required boarding time no later than 7:45 a.m., as indicated in the documentation provided at the time of booking. You also informed us at that time that your new estimated time of arrival was 8:17 a.m., which unfortunately meant you would miss the departure of the boat.
While we understand your frustration, our tours operate under strict schedules to ensure that all guests, including those who arrive on time, have the best experience possible. As much as we empathize with the challenges you faced, holding the boat for an extended period would have been unfair to the other guests on board. Additionally, the U.S. Coast Guard enforces passenger limits on our vessels, which means we are unable to accommodate additional participants on other fully-booked tours.
Our policies regarding cancellations and refunds, which are aligned with those of the third-party platform through which you made your reservation, are clearly outlined in the booking confirmation. Guests are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes before departure to ensure a smooth check-in process and avoid any last-minute complications.
We truly value your feedback and take every comment seriously to help us improve our services. We hope you understand that these policies are in place to maintain fairness and safety for all our guests. Should you choose to book with us again in the future, we would love the opportunity to provide you with the exceptional experience for which we are known.

Yay we made it to Flamenco beach! We were hoping to see some sea turtles but we did see some fishes at the reef. Staff was great and the music was much better on the way back. Sleepy Jamaican vibes heading to Culebra. All drinks are rum based and they charge extra for beer. Plenty of cold cuts and bread but the fruits ran out quickly. Great experience and service overall!

My family had a great time snorkeling and relaxing on the beach! The snorkeling location was calm enough for my 7 and 10 yr old kids to feel comfortable, even though they are not very strong swimmers. The crew of Sail Getaways did a great job ensuring everyone on the trip was comfortable and had a fantastic time. The boat ride in itself was fun on a hot, sunny day, and there were plenty of cold drinks and snacks as well as lunch. I would highly recommend.

Highly recommend the experience. There are lots of other companies doing the same thing, but I’d stop looking elsewhere and book here. The crew was professional, super attentive, skilled, and friendly. The boat was well-kept and clean. The lunch was very good with options for gluten free, vegetarian and even vegan, I think. Drinks were generously refilled all day following the snorkeling. The coral reef we went to was really lovely with a great variety of tiny, small and bigger fish. All sorts of coral too. Easy access from the boat. Then Flamenco Beach for a swim, stroll & sun. Gorgeous spot, soft sand, stunning colors in the water. Public showers and toilets available.
It was unusually very rough seas the day we went. I took two Dramamine they sold before departure for $1. Saved my day! Others were sick but the crew was very attentive with preventative measures where possible. They very discreetly dealt with all issues.
Only regret: I didn’t ask for the great playlists they played while on the boat!

This tour was a lifesaver! They were able to book my husband and I last minute when another group canceled on us. Super accommodating.
A storm had recently blown through before our excursion so our destination altered slightly but Captain Benny did a phenomenal job explaining his course of action and he anchored us at some beautiful reefs and beaches to explore.
First and second mate, Joey and Hector were outstanding. Hector, the bartender, manned the ‘floating bar’ off shore and can carry a drink to you through turbulent waves on the boat like none other. Joey enriched our trip with stories about the islands and their history. As the guy who successfully set the anchor at both ports-dude deserves a raise!
The food served was perfect but we were partial to the drink, ‘pain killer’.
If you sit starboard in the back for the ride out-be prepared for a water thrill ride! No, seriously, you’re going to get soaked.
Thanks to the crew for a memorable time!

A great experience from start to finish! The boat was clean and well maintained with a bathroom on board. The guys were friendly and attentive, constantly offering refreshments and helpful to guests with physical issues. Speaking of refreshments—all you can drink cocktails and soft drinks/water, buffet lunch of sandwich fixings, several salads, vegetables, chips, more than enough if you need seconds, and then fresh fruit and pbj sandwiches before you head home. You get about half hour to snorkel in an amazing spot. I suppose you could take longer if you want to be last to lunch. Then you go to flamenco beach for 2 hours, where you can do whatever, swim, sunbathe, walk. they have a dry bag to pack small items to the beach for you because you have to wade. Personally I would prefer to spend an hour snorkeling and less time at the beach, but it’s a small spot so maybe they have to give other people a chance to use it? Incredible marine life. Basically no complaints at all and I’m very glad I went. Thanks guys!

Wow, sounds like you had a blast from start to finish! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the clean boat, the all-you-can-drink cocktails (because who doesn’t love a good refill?), and the tasty buffet—because a trip to paradise requires snacks that are just as satisfying as the views. 🏖️
As for snorkeling vs. beach time, we totally get it—those underwater adventures are hard to pull yourself out of! But hey, Flamenco Beach isn’t going anywhere, and you can always come back for round two! 🐠😎
