It has always been on my bucket list to drive a tractor and the tournament ground made that happen. I was so incredibly nervous having given up driving years ago due to anxiety and within the first 10 seconds I felt at ease and confident thanks to Jeremy. He explained instructions calmy and simply which made it so much easier to just crack on and have fun. It was super boggy thanks to the recent weather and it made it all the more fun so don't forget your wellies!
I couldn't recommend this place enough and we will certainly be back. I can't wait! Thank you so much for helping me tick something off my bucket list!
Just a couple points that I was looking for in the reviews before going myself.
- The tractor is automatic so if you're a nervous driver/not driven before then it's super easy.
- There are toilets on site.

I actually did the Combine Driving Experience but it was not listed. Excellent gift from my mum for my birthday. Lived up to all my expectations.

We had a great time during our tractor driving experience. My 13 year old son is still talking about how much he enjoyed it. ‘It was amazing’ Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and my son was excited to not only drive the tractor, but to mow the Elephant grass which was as tall as the tractor. We would recommend this experience.

I have always loved a beautifully ploughed field and when my husband arranged this for my birthday was thrilled to have a go myself. It was everything I hoped for. Alex was super upbeat, reassuring and interesting. I loved driving the tractor and creating 'nearly' straight-line in the ground. I learned a lot and will continue to be in awe of the skill and art required to create the perfectly ploughed field that's just right for the crops being planted.

Fabulous experience!

I was gifted a tractor driving experience by my family at the Tournament Ground. Not sure exactly what to expect but I can tell you - it was amazing! Who knew how complicated a tractor could be, but everything was explained to me very carefully and clearly and before long I had ploughed an entire field! Then cam moving the hay bales - that was the best fun I have had in a long time! Just a really great day and hats off to the team - what fantastic time! Thanks.

The guy who did it was nice enough but he just never shut up. Kept talking about irrelevant stuff like how the gears work on other types of tractor. He’d tell me instructions on how to drive the tractor and operate the gears and the plough and then just talk constantly at me about something else whilst I was trying to concentrate. I had to keep asking him to please be quiet because it was so distracting. Imagine having your first driving lesson and you’re told how to do a three point turn and whilst you’re trying to do it the instructor starts telling you about the gears on a completely different type of car. Really put me off. I’ve done all sorts of rally driving and lorry driving experiences that were great fun but that was just stressful. I’ve even had flying lessons. It’s not that I can’t deal with instructions and learn fast - it was just a constant distraction. There’s no need to talk at someone solidly for an hour. Wasn’t going to leave a review as I don’t like being negative but now The Torunament Ground keep spamming me to leave a review and there’s no unsubscribe link so I figured if you keep demanding a review I will post one.

Thank you for your review, we appreciate all input as we strive to make sure our experiences are as enjoyable as possible and that we deliver what people want. We have changed our automatic email to make sure you do not receive any more emails. It is a shame you did not ask the instructor to talk less if it was putting you off. It is the first time anyone has ever said we have provided too much information, everyone else has commented how informative the sessions are.
