The tour was timed well for seeing some wonderful vineyards and tasting beautiful wines and cheese, too. Our guide, Eileen, was very personable and we had a great time with her. She selected wineries she thought we would enjoy and gave us insights into the local vitculture and wine that added to the experience. I highly recommend Tsiba Tsiba Tours and hope to go on other tours in the area with them in the future. Thank you for a wonderful day in the countryside.

My partner and I traveled with Tsiba Tsiba on their private wine tour in mid-April. We had a marvelous day sampling wines in the Stellenbosch area. Guide/driver Willem selected vineyards that offered both wines that we knew we liked as well as some new ones to us. We enjoyed the whole experience, and learned about South African culture along with wine. The scenery in the mountains was spectacular, and we had a good lunch as well. I recommend this trip for anyone interested in wines; it was a good value in my opinion, and I will tell anyone I know coming to this area to book this trip.

Forget about all other wine tours, particularly the wine tram and the Constantia bus route, with Tsiba Tsiba you get to taste wines according to your palate at non-tourist-trap wineries. Their tour guides are extremely knowledgable, can even answer questions about the terroir, and make sure that you get what you are looking for.
Highly recommendable if you are seriously interested in wine tasting (not just drinking).

It is always reassuring when you get an endorsement like the one that Susanne has just given us as a Tour company focusing on providing the best experience for your clients.
Thank you Susanne and yes we do like to dive into the deep end when it comes to wine tours and provide an experience that is out of the ordinary. We find those vineyards tucked away in the valleys away from the crowds where you can relax and enjoy the wines at your own pace learning about the complexities of wine-making and the influences that define them

We have done winery tours all over the world and it doesn't get better than Willem Swanepoel at Tsiba Tsiba. It wasn't just the carefully curated selection of wineries and the incredible good food and conversation along the way. Willem knew everyone we visited by first name and doors opened everywhere. We tasted vintage port at Muratie and they let us into their library to taste older vintages. I wanted to buy some of their 1998 vintage port but we were off to Kruger the next day and I didn't want to haul it along. Willem arranged to have the case of win shipped from the winery to our hotel in Johannesburg, arriving within a few hours of our flight back to U.S. He tracked the package for more than a week to make sure it arrived at the right hotel on the right day at the right time. It never would have worked out without his continuous help. Amazing.

Thank you for your generous review, I am looking forward to the finals of the Port competition between SA and Porto on thanksgiving day!
It is always gratifying when we find the right wine for clients and a Private Tour makes this so much easier. Along the way over the years we have made some incredible friends with the owners/winemakers and front-of-house staff in the wineries which allows us to go "behind the scenes and seek out those special wines!

We had a fantastic day and our wonderful tour guide Eileen provided our adult family with a tour customized to our wine preferences as well as adding in interesting local information. This company’s service went above and beyond and we also did a customized tour of the Cape Town area with George as our guide, which was superb! They were always responsive while we planned our tours, on time for pickup, fun and friendly to chat to during the tours. Very highly recommended!

The wine tour was fantastic- Stephen, the driver, was so knowledgeable and knew the best places to go. We learnt a lot about wine, had some great food and had a thoroughly enjoyable day.

Thank you for your review. Stephen certainly knows his way around the vineyards and being a Master Sommelier certainly helps with selecting the best wines to go to as far as quality is concerned

After a perfect day in the vineyards last year we went for a private wine tour with fantastic Stephen once again! This time we started in Cape town and Stephen showed us wineries in Franschhoek, Paarl and Stellenbosch which gave us a nice variation of the different terroir, styles of wine and locations. Even after one year in between the tours he still knew our preferences and was very motivated to show us new-to-us wineries aside from the bigger ones which we really liked.
Besides a nice wine and cheese tasting we also enjoyed an MCC and Nougat tasting and were brought to very beautiful wineries as e.g. Stark Condé which recently have reopened after renovation. No matter on which level you enjoy wine or bubbly, Tsiba Tsiba makes sure, you get a tour that fits all your needs, filled with plenty of information.
I'm sure this was not the last time coming back and thank you for the perfect day - again!

It's our honeymoon and we wanted to make the most of our limited time in Stellenbosch by having a private guide who would share knowledge and experience of wine, and also arrange a special and romantic day for us.
I emailed over the brief and got a fast response from Eileen. I was immediately confident I was dealing with a professional firm that would deliver what what we wanted (in fact we ended up expanding our tour to two days to also cover Franschhoek which they accommodated very last minute).
What we actually got was beyond all expectations that we had. Eileen is clearly very passionate about wine and we learnt so much during our time with her.
The wine estates she took us to were simply wonderful. Eileen had really thought about what we wanted and had arranged tastings at some very beautiful, intimate estates and tasting the wines whilst looking out over some truly stunning scenery is something we will never forget.
She picked out the wines at each tasting so we were able to sample a wide range of varieties, but also the ones she thought we would like best based on our tastes.
As a side note, Eileen was very clear that we were not under any pressure to buy any wine at any of the estates.
She arranged lunch for us on both days and both restaurants were excellent. Again, stunning views at both.
Car we were driven in was very comfortable.
I can't recommend this enough. You won't be disappointed.
