What a great way to get an overview of the city.
Seeing some of the magnificent architecture in the neighborhoods, great and stunning pictures opportunities and a good commentary as you go.
Mick knows the area and throws in personal anecdotes to make the tour feel very homely.
After the tour Mike had no hesitation running people back to certain parts of the city they wanted to re visit.
Great value, great tour and great service after the tour.

Michael was a fun and well informed guide, I appreciated his knowledge base of the city and also the cool extra stories! He really gave us such a variety of information about Auckland, was a great start to my visit in the city.

Really enjoyed our half day tour of Auckland. It provided a great orientation to the city.
We appreciated that Michael adjusted the tour to allow for maximising our experience of Maungawhau (Mt Eden) due to the weather.
Michael’s commentary was informative and sociable.

This tour is well worth doing. Michael was very informative and showed us all the sights of Auckland. The weather was not the best but the tour was still enjoyable. I would thoroughly recommend doing this tour to everyone, whether you’ve never been here before or visited many times.

Michael, our tour guide, was fabulous! It was a great tour complete with insights to history, architecture, lifestyle and an overall understanding of this wonderful city. Highly recommended!

Michael gives a really interesting tour of Auckland. You cover a lot of ground and go to some places you wouldn’t normally get to when exploring. It was fun a few days later to eat dinner at the sky tower and realize the ground we covered on this tour!

Mike was an excellent, knowledgeable, friendly tour guide. We learned so much more about the Auckland area and its history than we expected. The pace was perfect. The small size of the group made it feel very personalized. Thanks Mike!

Michael was cheerful and full of insider knowledge as he toured us around the city he so clearly loves. We had dreadful weather but our spirits were not dampened. In fact this tour was an ideal way to get an overview of the city and it’s neighborhoods and history on a cold and rainy day I’d recommend this tour to any visitor to get a broad view We are here for Women’s World Cup but visiting doesn’t have to be 100% about soccer!

Loved this tour! It was the perfect way to start off our trip to Auckland. We got to see so much of the city and got to record what else we thought would be good to go back to. The tour guide was fantastic. He was really passionate about the tour and really connected with his guests. We made a lot of stops! There is no way you could go see all these things for less money as we truly went all over the place. I would highly recommend! Try to book on day 1.

My husband and I are getting off a cruise liner on the 8th April in Auckland and would like to book the half day Auckland City Sightseeing Tour for the morning. We were wondering where the pick-up location would be and what time? Thank you.

Michael will message you regarding pick up. We were picked up from our cruise ship, very straight forward. He calls at both wharfs.

Yes, lots of photo opportunities. Our favourite was the one under the bridge looking across the water at the city. Because Mike knows the area really well and has done the tour many times, he knows exactly where to go and he gives you plenty of time to take your pics.

Our Caribbean ship will be in Auckland port for one day . Can we get picked up at the port ?? If not can anyone suggest how to get to city central to join a tour ??

He picked up his people at the dock and then made a special trip to pick us up at the Luggage Hotel nearby. He dropped us off at the Maritime Museum which is close by and well worth your time. We did the morning tour and the Maritime Museum and still had time to make our late afternoon flight back to Kansas City.

This sounds like what I'm looking for on my first day. Is a lot of walking required to enjoy the tour? I had knee surgery earlier this year so no longer can walk long distances, or for long periods of time, and stairs can be prohibitive sometimes, too. Not how I wanted to make the visit :( but I still want to make the most of my trip! Any suggestions?

No, there is not much walking. Actually they can even take you up to the volcano by van.

I do think he has afternoon's available too.
