Amazing road trip!

We loved our trip down the Great Ocean Road! Our tour guide, Walter, was lovely and provided complimentary tea & biscuits. We stopped many times to enjoy the scenery, we were even lucky enough to see the Kangaroos. The overnight stay at Apollo Bay was amazing, it was a cosy stay. Apollo Bay is no ordinary hostel, there’s a log burner and a spacious kitchen. However, the tour could have been improved by informing us of the itinerary each morning, before we started the day. P.s. bring snacks!

How Great is Nature
I highly recommend this 2 day tour with Walter
It was indeed 'ultimate' with a great combination of stops (walks), food and companionship. It was active and leisurely at the same time. A visit to the rainforest at 0700 was like something from 'Lord of the Rings'.
A 15 minute helicopter ride over the 12 apostles gave a wonderful extended view. For us the sea was calm and the ride smoothe.
The beaches were rocky with strong waves pounding the beach.

A very special experience.

Great Ocean Road Two Days Tour
Took the two day amazing trip with Walter to The Great Ocean Road, where we visited many great lookouts, beaches and had the opportunity to spot some Koalas and Kangaroos as well. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service and the itinerary. Highly recommended tour if you like to take some incredible pictures while enjoying the great views this place has to offer.

豐富且令人驚豔的旅程
兩天的行程很豐富很充實，不僅是導遊Walter對於每個景點都詳細解說，大洋路海岸線的絕景搭配上藍天簡直讓人流連忘返！我們也很幸運看到了可愛的大袋鼠跟正在進食的無尾熊！最重要的是，兩天一夜的安排有充分的拍照、體驗以及休息時間，而且大量錯開一日遊的旅客！真的很推薦

Geen aanrader
De tour is geen toevoeging om de Great Ocean Road te zien. Je kunt deze route prima alleen of met vrienden rijden in een huurauto. Er was geen dynamiek in de groep, de gids deed daarvoor ook zijn best niet. De gids zag er niet uit alsof hij plezier had. Het leek meer een verplichting. We hadden geen zicht bij de twelve apostles. Later op de dag klaarde het op. Een goede gids had ons daar terug naar toe gebracht, maar hij wilde zo snel mogelijk weer naar huis. Bij het ophalen en afzetten kwam hij heel gestresst over en hij zat continue op zijn telefoon tijdens het rijden. Ik vind dat dat niet kan, je moet de veiligheid waarborgen van je gasten. Kortom, ik zou deze tour niet aanraden.

Walter met our basic needs and gave some basic information about the area. He managed to time the tour nicely as there were hardly any tourists when we were at the attractions. However, the tour was a mad rush as there were too many spots to go to. We had limited time at each spot; he gave us just enough time to walk down, a 5min break/photo session then back up again. They need to curate their itinerary better. There was no personal touch either. Walter dropped us off n let us wander off on our own. He wouldn’t know our walking pace (and as such adjust to our needs), or be there to answer any questions we had atm. He came across as uninterested. If you’re looking for just a driver, then this tour is fine. Otherwise pls go elsewhere. We had so much more fun with another tour agency.

The most comprehensive GOR tour!

Had a good tour with Walter who brought us to many places along the GOR. Really appreciate the effort in preparing morning tea for the group, especially when it's really cold (and rainy). Get ready for many hop on and off. Would recommend going for a tour if you're not driving.

Awesome Apostles!

A great two days with Walter exploring the many delights of the Great Ocean Road. Highlight of course was seeing the mighty Apostles in the early morning sunlight, and another wonderful experience was the walk through Maite’s Rest, a fern filled, towering Mountain Ash rain forest. Magical. Walter is a fount of knowledge and makes the journey a very pleasant experience. if you’re lucky like us, and be the only two booked, then even better.

Amazing eco-tourism
Walter's tour was so amazing. We have been on many group tours and have decided our experience with Walter outweighs all other companies. Walter had great commentary and showed us some really awesome eco-tourism spots. This tour does have a lot of walking but the views are so worth it. Also Wildlife Wonders in Apollo Bay is one of the best experiences we have ever had. Reece and I cannot wait to come do more tours with Walter (Around and About Tours). Best tour company in Melbourne!!

Fantasic Day Out!

Booked a day trip to Mt Buller with Around and About and is was a great day!
Booked online and leading up to the tour Walter sent out updates for information on COVID restrictions and a heads up to pre-book lift passes, really appreciated with all the changes happening these days.

The day itself was well run and we made great time up to Mt Buller, comfortable bus ride and the stop in Mansfield to collect ski gear was super easy,

Walter pointed out lots of cool sights along the way and has a great eye for spotting native animals! He also had great tips about making the day better on the mountain!

Highly recommend booking with Around and About!
