We did both Sevilla and Granada tours with Gershon, and I’d highly recommend both tours. Gershon was informative and personable, and very much catered the tours to us. I learned so much about Jewish history in Spain, and its also just a great way to see the cities with a unique perspective.

Gershon took us on Jewish History tours of Seville and Granada. He was absolutely fantastic, showed us interesting and hidden sights, was friendly and engaging, and super knowledgeable. Definitely recommend him!

Gershon is the #1 person in the world you want to see Cordoba with. He is a special human being in general, so kind to us despite our mishaps in booking, and the tour itself was wonderful. He knows information about the inquisition that no one else knows about. Plus, as a frum couple, he provided us with information that he knew we would care about like our tradition of the Rambam's life compared to academic sources. Such a great time!!

We have taken many Jewish tours around the world including several in Spain, but this was by far the best Jewish tour we have ever had. Our guide was perhaps the most knowledgeable about Jewish history, especially in Spain, that we have ever encountered. That lead to great, deep and educational discussions throughout. He also knew how to hit the highlights so as not to "lose his audience." He kept us intrigued and interested the entire time. This is a GREAT tour and we highly recommend it.

This is an excellent 2.5-hour tour of the Jewish Quarter of Cordoba! Our guide Jorge Gershon provided a thorough overview of the history of Judaism in Cordoba (and Andalusia as a whole), as well as interesting personal insights into the contemporary Jewish communities of Spain. I can’t recommend this tour highly enough—thank you, Jorge!

I highly recommend this tour - it gives a completely new dimension to the visit of the jewish section of Cordoba.
Jorge adapted to the pace of our family (teens + a baby), while providing cool anecdotes and very clear explanations.
Even understanding Jorge's jewish life in current Sevilla was super interesting.
Overall, everybody spent a very fun and informative 2.5 hours - and highly recommend this tour.

Great tour with Jorge who spoke excellent English. As there are no Jews living in Cordoba, Jorge came from Seville to lead us through the quarter. Make sure you book when the synagogue is open. While small it is amazing. We had toured the Mosque the day before and learned the same craftsman who worked at the Mosque also did the synagogue. The highlight was to visit the Jewish museum and have a sit-down chat with the person who started the museum. The museum itself was once were 8 families lived, mostly 1 small room per family. It has a central courtyard and community kitchen. The other rooms house artifacts, an art exhibit of influential Jewish women and history through the centuries. Small but packed with lots of interesting information. This tour may be the only way to visit the museum as the number of visitors after COVID restrictions lifted has been low.

We had limited time and the synagogue was closed for New Year's, but nevertheless, we had a really excellent tour of the Jewish Quarter with Jorge Gershon. He's a truly lovely guy, quite knowledgeable, enthusiastic and engaging, and has an interesting background himself (to those like me living with a limited Ashkenazic perspective). We learned a lot and it was so helpful to get a Jewish perspective on the events of this region, and Cordoba in particular, from a Jewish person. It was great learning more about Rambam (Maimonides), who was born and lived in Cordoba, and we got the pleasure of hearing live singing of a wide range of Sephardic melodies, captured in just three songs, at the Jewish Museum. You might think you don't need a guide in a museum, but really Jorge targeted particular spaces and elements to share stories, explanations, and made it feel personal and really meaningful -- he brought it all to life and helped it feel so tangible it was like it was recent. We highly recommend including in a trip to Cordoba a learning experience with Jorge.

Jorge gives an incredibly informative and fun tour

Wow! This tour is perfect for those who want to learn about Spain's rich Jewish (Sephardic) history in a place where the three cultures really come alive. Full disclosure: I work in Spain's travel industry, but I booked this tour for my visiting aunt and me to discover Córdoba on a whole new level. We were not disappointed and walked away feeling like we had a truly culturally enriching experience. Jorge is so knowledgeable. We listened to his stories and gained access to parts of the Judería that are not open to the general public. I have been to Córdoba multiple times, but this tour really shined a new light on one of my favorite cities in Spain and gave me such a new perspective. A must for anyone interested in Spain's Jewish history!
