I would like to give Valentin 10 stars !! We had a group of 12 and he planned two days of tastings for us and we had the absolute BEST time. I really don't have words for how great this experience was for our group. We did a mix of big and small houses and the wine was superb and he is so fun and has so much knowledge about the area. I cannot recommend this tour more !! Seriously -- if you are even remotely considering it please book a tour with this company. Thank you Valentin for the most perfect two days !!!

Great guide with great knowledge. Interesting wine makers not part of the “Champagne boulevard”.
One thing that could be improved: mic and speakers in the car would make it much easier to hear the guide while driving.

We had the most fabulous day. Alex our tour guide was very informative and we learnt a lot about how champagne was made. Alex was absolutely wonderful and we would recommend this tour to anyone! Thank you Alex for a fabulous day!

Wonderful visits to small growers who work on organic principles with knowledgeable guides. Anna was the best with in-depth knowledge of champagne and an ability to provide information at the right level and detail based on the knowledge of each participant, plus a great sense of humor. The small group size worked well, lunch was in Epernay at a wonderful restaurant.

Valentin took us on an amazing tour to Epernay & Ay where he shared his vast knowledge and charmed us with his friendly demeanor. We visited two boutique producers, Veuve Maitre Geoffroy, Voirin Jumel, and the premier producer Ayala, which were all lovely! We enjoyed an authentic French lunch mid-day at Restaurant Le Theatre. Valentin was professional and geared the afternoon towards our personal tastes in the afternoon. What an amazing day, we highly recommend Sparking Tours and look forward to coming back to explore more of the Champagne region!

Our trip to Reims and Epernay was spectacular. Our train was delayed by an entire hour and our guide patiently waited for us. Despite the delay, we were still able to go to all three locations and have an incredible lunch! Our guide, Alexis, was phenomenal! He was so knowledgeable and made it easy to understand the complex process of making champagne. His knowledge was so comprehensive that it was like having a sommelier on the tour with us. He was very personable and friendly but also gave us time to ourselves to enjoy. He even dropped us off at the Reims Cathedral since we had emtioned wanting to sew it.
The three houses we went to where very different which really allowed us to better understand the difference between their approaches to champagne. Everyone was so kind and welcoming!
If you have any doubts about whether this excursion is worth the time or money, I promise that you will have an amazing time! Ask for Alexis for a truly wonderful experience! He helped to make our honeymoon so special!

My fiancé and I have done wine tours in Napa, South Africa, and now the Champagne region, and Sparkling Tour was by far the best tour we have ever done. Valentin taught us so much about champagne, was patient, and so friendly. The private tour was excellent, as we were able to truly taste the wines and take our time. Sparkling Tour picked a phenomenal lunch spot in Epernay. The van was brand new. I would recommend Valentin to everyone.

A beautiful day spent in Reims where we felt like real champagne insiders thanks to our guide Christophe, who took us behind the scenes at some of the best and most historic champagne producers in France.
We've been on a number of wine tours but this was a stand out. We were collected from the train station in a beautiful air conditioned van, and had our every question answered by Christophe, a Epernay local and a veteran of the champagne industry.
The lunch that was included was delicious, and we came away from the tour armed with lots of new knowledge about champagne, and quite a few bottles too...
10/10 would recommend Sparkling Tours and Christophe. If you get a chance, go to Louis Brochet for my favourite ever champagnes, and the cutest little dogs greeting you at the door.

Best tour of a wine region we’ve ever done. Valentin was accomodating and knowledgeable. Great value too when considering the amount of champagne enjoyed through the day and the time spent with the families of champagne houses getting an insiders view on the workings of a winery. To top it off I emailed Valentin about a year after the tour. My husband noticed a 1984 bottle of champagne, his birth year, at one of the houses which we didn’t purchase at the time. I asked Valentin if it was still available and he kindly organised payment and delivery to Australia in time for my husband’s 40th celebrations. Thank you, thank you Valentin

Nothing short of fantastic - Valentins knowledge of wine making and the traditions of Champagne in particular, is amazingly broad! - We've been with Valentin twice, first exploring the history of champagne, the different notes and how everything works. The second time, we were looking specifically for a champagne, that we could bring home to our weeding! - Valentin was a perfect host for both tours, and also made all of the arrangement of getting 60 bottles transported from Champagne to Copenhagen Denmark. If 6 stars were possible, we wouldn't hesitate a second! - We will be back for another tour!
Further more, our champagne arrived at our doorstep, just two days after it was sent! Three days from confirmed to delivered - amazing pace!
