Our guide Mazda San reached out to me days in advance to suggest and customize the itinerary according to our preferences. I had initially shortlisted 3 Mount Fuji private tours but went with this due to the proactive correspondence from Mazda San prior to the trip. It turned out to be an EXCELLENT CHOICE. I am quite well travelled across all the continents but Mazda San by far is the most amazing tour guide I have ever experienced out of all my international travels. He being native Japanese (and also multi-lingual in English and speaks very good Mandarin), was able to help us appreciate the history of places we visit.
We were lucky to have gone on a day where Mount Fuji was in clear view, and Mazda San made our day even more wonderful with his excellent service.
We travelled as a big group of 7 including 3 young children, but I felt like Mazda San single-handedly took care of us like family.
He is extremely efficient, knows exactly where the perfect photo spots are, and even looked after the entire entourage when we split into 3 groups at the premium outlets.
Even when the return traffic was unforgiving due to a road accident ahead, Mazda San made a short stop and surprised us with warm drinks before continuing with the last bit of the drive back. With his efficiency and magic we were able to see all the desired spots and came home with lovely photos as memories of our day at Mount Fuji. As a family, we wouldn’t have been able to enjoy Mount Fuji so much if not for Mazda San’s ingenuity and attention to detail. Mazda San went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend him, in a heartbeat. Would love to engage him again for all my future Japan private tours.

Mazda was an absolutely wonderful tour guide! He was very enthusiastic throughout the tour and extremely knowledgeable about Mount Fuji. He was accommodating with our changes in itinerary and patient with us while we shopped at the Gotemba outlets. We would highly recommend him to other people for this tour and especially for families with young children.

Thank you so much for joining the GOTEMBA and MT FUJI tour, I am so sorry that we have faced heavy traffic jams. But I would like to tell you that you are lucky enough to take beautiful photos of MT FUJI.
I hope yo will visit MT FUJI area again and enjoy more exciting spots around 5 FUJI lakes area in the near future!

We love that the itinerary was customizable for us to be able to see the full view of Mt. Fuji at Lake Kawaguchi. We were also comfortable with the provided vehicle since we are 14 pax with 2 senior citizens and 3 kids in tow. Gotemba outlet is huge so best if you spend time at least 3 hours for you to be able to maximize the whole area and shopping experience too.

We had such a wonderful day with our tour guide Masae and driver Toshi! The morning was gloomy so they recommended a change in itinerary to better view Mt. Fuji. They took us to many great viewing places and we enjoyed a delicious local lunch! Highly recommend!

We had a great time at Mt Fuji. Eiko, our tour guide, was very friendly and accomodating. She also made sure my mom and ma-in-law were able to see the Arakura Sengen Shrine with the best view of Mt Fuji I have seen so far. Thanks again Eiko👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😊

Masuda-san was the consummate guide, host and driver! He shared relevant history and his own stories to provide all the guidance and context for a visit you could ever want but most of all, did it with warmth, sincerity, kindness and good humor. I wish we had another day trip planned with him!
We adapted our day and Masuda-san rolled with it while giving updated recommendations to accommodate our schedule. Be sure to provide your preferred itinerary choices in advance so he knows what to prioritize!

Masae and Toshi were the BEST!! This was an amazing tour experience of Mount Fuji. Masae was so knowledgeable, took us to the best spots, had the most amazing lunch we'd have in our entire time in Japan. She really took the time to get to know us and make us feel comfortable and welcome.
Toshi was a great driver and had his own experience, stories and secret backroads to get places that was so fun.
100% recommend!

I actually often ponder what I learned about your culture that day from your parents and cousins plus your bf. The tour felt sureal! Taiji was able to change and shift our trip to Match how we wanted to experience japan. He was calm, collected, informed, and very very nice the entire tour. It never felt like we were rushing through the tour or just going to tourists trap spots, going on a tour with him felt like meeting a family member or friend who knew the area and was just excited to show you around which made the experience all the better. Overall the experience with him was one of the best I've ever had!

Our tour guide Mazda was amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable, told us lots of interesting things about Japan’s history and culture, took amazing photos of us (literally like a professional photographer), and took us to the best viewpoints! Loved this experience and HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mazda!

We had an Excellent experience and Ken was really accomodating. My family and I would highly recommend this trip for people of any age. He spoke very fluent English which made our experience enjoyable and overall a day well spent!

Fiji area has many attractions such as amusement park with rollercoasters with Guinness records, local food restaurants, monkey show theater, etc., so you can enjoy yourself even in a cloudy/rainy day. Hi does the price includes lunch provided? I’m traveling with 2 adults and 2 children aged 9 and 3. Are the charges the same?
