This self-catering property is right off 17 in between Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle and overlooks the intercoastal and the Bareoot Landing shopping area. We booked the three-bedroom condo for seven nights because it was about $100 a night less than two-bedroom beachfront accommodations and in a fairly new development. We rented a unit from Paradise Barefoot vacations. This was a three bedroom unit on the ground floor. It was immaculate and nicely decorated. Master Bathroom was Huge! Good location to most areas of MB. They have a shuttle service that runs to the beach on a regular basis for everyone who stays at Barefoot-rumor has it -they have good golfing too-we went for Myrtle Waves and other attractions. We went to this resort for a reunion: turned out everyone thought it was on the beach--it isnt. It's near a river. We drove onto a hot asphalt parking lot, looked around and went back to Ocean Blvd. Booked a room on the ocean and had a great time. Traveled with 12 family members including 5 children under the age of 12. The accomodations couldn't have been any better. We had 4 bedrooms, a well supplied full kitchen, dining table that seated 10 and a large living area. The rooms were all roomy with seperate television and bathrooms. 27 guys and I stayed at the Barefoot Resort and Golf from May 10 to May 16. The condo and golf was far better than I expected. Nice big room, bath room and a great patio view from the 7th floor ...however the stay was disappointing. The first shock is ... this is a time-share renting extra capacity. The staff is rude and unavailable. We booked two nights.
