We are local and went to the Ashland House Conference Center for a Mothers Day brunch. They apparently had '3 seatings' for brunch and we were in the last. Our total bill was $112.46 for 4 adults (1 was a teen) and a child ($19.95 per person plus the tip was added on). I have reluctantly stayed at the Ashland House 4 times while visiting the East Peoria in-laws, simply because it's (relatively) new and conveniently located, but I'll never do it again. The place is dreary and depressing, with bad lighting and Motel 6 linens. The toilet seat might be so loose it slips off, or maybe the shower will emit a high-pitched scream. We have stayed at this inn twice over a two year span. If you find yourself in need of a room in Morton, Illinois this is the place to stay. The rooms are larger than your average hotel room and the place is very clean. They do a good job at keeping the place up.
