I'd say this hotel is pretty decent if you're looking for something a bit more professional without paying a premium for it being new and perfect. The hotel has a very central location in Wulong City. It is across the street from a large supermarket and a movie theater, about 8 blocks from the stadium, and is literally right next to the bridge(the bridge is about 3 blocks long) that crosses the river to the slightly more interesting old side of the river. Our room was 150RMB's on a tuesday in march and was very spacious, with two double beds and a very nice view of the river. We actually checked out in the morning but then ended up back in WuLong at night and decided to not look around and just stay there again, so I got to see 4 rooms(we had two groups of people.) The rooms I saw were all large, and had pretty nice bathrooms, with western style toilets, good hot water and very strong water pressure. All rooms had clean, comfortable(but firm) beds, water boilers, many electrical outlets, and an ok, older style tv with many channels(but only CCTV News in English.) There is no WiFi or internet. The hotel has a parking lot and it costs about 25RMB's to park for a night. The rooms look decent, and are set up in a standard, business class style(Chinese business class,) but the hotel is definitely aging a bit and wont overly impress most picky foreigners. There is free breakfast, but it mostly looked like leftover Chinese dishes from the night before plus some hard boiled eggs and steamed bread, no coffee. The only problem with the rooms is that none of the windows seem to lock(this may be possible to be fixed if you try harder than me.) This didn't bother us as it seemed extremely difficult to climb up the side of the building and WuLong seems very safe. If you want to save money, I would recommend the other more casual and less businessy hotels right down the street for only 70 to 100 RMB's a room with better views. However, these hotels don't have quite the same standards, are even older, and don't have western toilets. All in all, if you want a more professional, fairly quiet, easy to locate hotel with a nice facade, elevators, and standard amenities, this is a pretty good choice(if you can live without WiFi!)…
